Entrance Music
“Hero” by Skillet
Entrance
The guitar rift from the song starts playing as the crowd stands cheering. The lights dim dark, as the entrance video starts playing, showing heavy rain falling, as the camera rises from Cross’s feet. The drums come in, as the video actually flashes in and out to emphasize the bass. Then when all the instruments play, and the music explodes, pyro itself matches the pace shooting off from either side of the ramp forming a giant red X.
Out from the back, Xavier steps out from the back, his head lowered. His arms folded across his chest in an X, as he slides them out, each arm pointing outwards to the fans. The pop is almost deafening as he marches down the aisle, walking one way holding his arm out to high fives from the fans, letting ‘em touch their hand, or him.
He reaches the ring, and slowly ascends the steps; he climbs the turnbuckle, looking out to the fans holding his arms out soaking up all the cheers. Before leaping into the ring, and settling in the corner as he gets warmed up for the ref to ring the bell.

Biography
Xavier Cross was a highly recruited basketball prospect in highschool, he went to a prestigious Prep School in Florida, his father was a senator in Georgia, and his mother was a former lawyer, turned house wife. His childhood was very good for being a high class citizen in the united states. He had an older sister, and an adopted younger brother.
Xavier’s senior year of highschool he shattered his knee, tearing most of the major ligaments. He had to have reconstructive surgery, and most schools that had offered him scholarships had pulled out due to the injury. While he sat in a hospital bed, a older man was in the bed next to him. Broken back. Cross and the man became quick friends over a few days, the man would never walk again, but somehow kept a smile on his face. Inside, Cross felt awful because he was so upset about college scholarships.
Finally the day came, when Xavier asked what happened, the man talked about his glory days in wrestling. Started as a young man, and had done it up to his accident. It was a bad spot, fell hard, and injured his back, didn’t know how serious it actually was.
But the man talked about sticking with it, not as a wrestler, but as a manager, helping run the business for other men who loved the work, loved every minute of it. It inspired Cross, he took the man’s business card when he left the hospital, and as soon as he completed physical therapy, he called the man, and from there the career would take off.
Xavier Cross had two major stints in two federations, Global Wrestling Coalition, and New Championship Wrestling. With minor feds in between, his skills had evolved from a typical spot monkey high flyer, to a harder striker and submission expert. Not a day goes by when Cross doesn’t think of the man who trained him.
As far as accolades go, Cross was never more than a mid-card champion, capturing multiple US Titles, TV Titles, and a few tag teams in between. He has had multiple heavy weight title shots, but never succeeded in capturing the ultimate prize.
Cross has been married once, and is a widower of Cari Thompson-Cross, a girl he met when he was 25 and married a few months later. They had three children, two twins Landon Cross and Isabella Cross (age 8) and the youngest, James William Cross (age 6). Cross has also starred in a direct-to-video Cop Movie called, “Badge of Bravery”
