The camera begins rolling as it shows a silouette of a figure.

Figure: Genocide... that time of the year. A chance where world calibre athletes, local talent, legends, and rookies all fight for a chance to win the NCW Pinnacle championship. I haven't won this match yet, but soon things will change...

The camera goes black.

[Uh Oh]

The camera begins rolling as it shows the interior of what could possibly be a hospital. White tile floors. Luminescent lights flickering and the sounds of keys jingling and shoes slapping against the floor as five men approach. Two dressed in white scrub like uniforms, two in NCW security uiforms and the third ina suit.

White Scrub 1: Are you sure? This guy is kind of unpredictable.

Man in Suit: Yes, we only need him released for a single night.

WhiteScrub 2: You better keep him chained.

Man in Suit: Leave that to us.

White Scrub 1: Why would you put himin here just to take him out.

Man in Suit: That is NCW business.

They come to a heavily reinforced door where thumping can be heard from inside. They open the small viewing hole and the man in the suit looks inside.

Man in Suit: perfect. The donation will be deposited as soon as we have him loaded up...

The man in suit notices the cameraman and send sthe NCW security after him the camera shakes and some screaming and then black.

[Uh Oh]

The camera begins rolling as it shows Merxy backstage. Merxy is standing in a trashed locker rooom. garbage strewn everywhere chairs smashed and lockers dented.

Merxy: That little cheating bitch. If it's not a gang of thugs it's a sneak attack, if not a sneak attack, then a hidden weapon. Joanne, I know what kind of coward you are. You got me once, but this is for all the glory. For me this is a one stop revenge match. Joanne Canelli, Emily Riley, Necra Octavien Kane. Now is my chance to get my hand son all three of you, in a match with no disqualification only elimination. I don't care if you are in there when I get in there, I don't care if I have to stay the entire night, but one by one I will make each of you bleed and I will crush your dreams at winning Genocide.

Merxy stares at the camera and points at it.

Merxy: That is a promise. For the majority of the match there are no friends, but I have Dean's back and he has mine. Necra, Emily, Joanne. The enemy of my enemy might very well be my friend. You have crossed a lot of people and have made youselves marked. The rest of your family cannot save you. Ice Queen, Thor, Sephiroth, Executioner, and Leon Dread are not enough. You will all leave the ring carrried out as battered, beaten, losers. Even if I am eliminated my one true goal is to cost you three the victory.

Merxy grabs a chair and throws it at the camera as the cameraman stumbles and takes off running.

[Uh Oh]

The camera begins rolling as it shows a pair of military boots. It slowly pans upwards over camoflage pants and then tone flesh up to reval Evan Storm's disgruntled face. His arms are folded akimbo across his chest.

Evan: Well here we are.... NCW Genocide, the big one... the most dangerous match in NCW. We have falls count anywhere matches, tables matches, ladders matches, I Quit, Last man Standing, steel cage and the list can go on and on, but this match is everyone who is under contract fighting to become the Pinnacle champion. Loners, tag teams, and factions. This is where we separate the men from the boys.

Evan pauses and closes his eyes and seems to be taking a deep breath.

Evan: Exctement, antcipation, and fear stir in the air. Who can I trust? Will my friends and family betray me? In this match, the most frequent answer would be... Yes!

The camera pans the empty cold concrete room.

Evan: Fathi has broken ties with his allies. The revolution is dead, a complete failure. He and Tyler Cross left Hex Girl high and dry and what happened? Brian Kennedy and Creed destroyed her, she will be in no shape to compete. Adam Gatner and Jeremiah Hardin, you guys may have had your fun at my expense, but you know what they say about payback....

Evan smirks and gives a sadistic chuckle.

Evan: Lets see... The Covensnt, or should we say Ragnarok and his harem. A group of do nothins. Rene stumbles around winning unimportant matches on the rare occassions she can actually win, while Diamond Rose will enter and be eliminated to no fanfare. Jennifer Enigma, once a feared competitor now a helpless, useless joke.

Evan shakes his head n disdain.

Evan: Dean Tyler an that thing you date Merxy Black, a couple whi had a cup of coffee with success and then have been relegated to the bottom of the barrel. Dean you jumped an old and then have done nothing since....pathetic.

Evan spits on the floor in disgust t the thought of Merxy.

EVan:  Next the disfunctional family ot alliance of The Darkside and IceHouse.  The supposed females of Ice Queen, Joanne Canelli, Emily Riley, Necra Octavien Kane all a bunch of succubi who I wouldn't touch with a 10 ft pole.  Sephirthoth, Leon Dread, Johnny Reb, and The Executioner.  You think you guys have the numbers, that you think you havea snowballs chance in Hell you will win, it is laughable.  Sephiroth, Joanne, Emily, and Dread you all got lucky won the titles and ran home to hide with them.  A bunch of cowards.

Evan:  None of you can stand to Stalker Knight's master plan.  He fomed an alliance of the deadliet people on the roster, Beno will be looking for payback on Dean Tyler.  Felicia Knight, and Anna Raven Jade will annihilate the harlots and Jezebel's of the match.  That leaves the body of work to the likes of Mr. Creed, Dario Arturo Cortez, Brian Kennedy, Stalker Knight and myself.  In the end one of us will walk out the Pinnacle champion, the rest of us with title shots to take the remaining titles to us.  In the end The Foundation has been laid and the Apocalypse is on the horizon...

Evan turns and walks away as the camera fades to black.

Get Jinxed plays as Katsa walks out onto the stage with a microphone in hand. She has her hair up in pigtails one dyed purple the other pink. She is wearing a microskit and thigh high boots.

Katsa: Hello beautiful people, it's ME! Katsa! I know it has been awhile my Dreaddy Bear has been not had much time to destroy his opponents like he wanted to. I am here to announce that soon you will be hearing from my Dreaddy Bear. So all of you that scoff at him, you know who you are. He is angry, and hungry and he will be coming for you soon. Keep your ears clean and pay attention because he will be speaking soon.

Get jinxed plays as she walks to the back.

[Uh Oh]

The camera shows Chris Clinton walking backstage. He sees Uh oh walking around.

Chris Clinton: Hey Uh Oh! Have you seen Joanne Canelli? I want to get an interview with her.

Uh Oh: No not yet, she has some errands she'll let you know when she is ready to do an interview.

Chris Clinton: So do you know any of the surprise entrances or anyone's numbers?

Uh Oh: Look! Jean-Claude Van Damme!

Chris turns and sees no one there. he turns back and looks around and Uh Oh is gone.

Chris Clinton: Hmmm... interesting...

Chris walks off. Then t shows an upturned cardboard box moving and it lifts up and reveals Uh Oh he has a sly grin on his face.

Uh Oh: Thank you guys for teaching me Metal Gear Solid...

Suddenly a crash is heard as an overhead spotlight breaks and hits Uh Oh in the head. He lies there as a dog walks up and sniffs the box and then urinates on the box and walks away.

Act 1: What am I?

"Monsters are not jut in fairy tales. We are all around you. We are real as real can be."


The scene opens on the beautiful city of New York. The city was quiet, even for a weekend. The moon was high in the sky and the stars were once again dulled against the bright lights of the city. The sound of traffic was quieter then it usually was, but still remained. The smells from the restaurants still drifted on the air, mixing with the strange smell from the harbor that ran along the shoreline. The camera moves over the city of lights and soon comes to a stop on the Plaza Hotel that over looked Central Park. The lights had come on to light the pathways that wound themselves through the park but still left shadows throughout. The camera moves to one of the higher floors of the beautiful hotel. The camera stops on one of the balconies that over looked the park and we see Rene standing on the balcony looking out over the park taking in the cold night air. Their flight had been canceled through New York and now her and Ragnarok had been forced to stay the night until the next morning. Her eyes scanned the darkened world below. The sounds of heavy footsteps can be heard echoing . Ragnarok is seen carrying their baggage into the room he sets Rene;s stuff down gently. He looks around the room to make sure there is no danger to Rene. Rene looks over her shoulder, and smiles softly.

Rene: I don't think you have to much to worry about here. We are high enough up... No one can see us.

Ragnarok checks the room and then looks out the window.

Rene: The view is beautiful. It's one I never thought I would ever see.

Ragnarok: Why is that?

Rene: When I lived on the island we never left. Or rather I never left. Now look at me, successful, wealthy...

Ragnarok: Soon you will prove yourself and get the Pinnacle championship.

Rene smiles.

Rene: Maybe. There are a lot of people going into this match... Including you I imagine.

Ragnarok: I have your back, stay with me and you will go far.

Rene: I plan on going to the top. But I would love nothing more than to have you at my side when I do.

Ragnarok: I will clear a path to success for you.

Rene: And I thank you for it. I know I would love to see the rest of the Covenant get to the top where we all belong. If we can take the tag titles and a few others we will be top dogs.

Ragnarok: This is our time, we will prevail.

Rene's eyes seem to shift into what could be considered black pools before shifting back to their normal color.

Rene: That we will. I do not envy anyone that steps in my way. I mean look at what happened to those two fools that stood against Jennifer and I. They thought they actually had a chance against us.

Ragnarok: I will crush any who threaten you.

He clenches his fist. Rene smiles running a hand along his arm.

Rene: I know you would and that is why I... I care for you.

Ragnarok: I will do everything in my power to keep you safe.

He looks around again.

Ragnarok: Are you hungry?

Rene: I am. It's been a while since we left the airport.

Ragnarok: Shall I call room service or do you wish to eat out?

Rene: Why don't you go ahead and call room service? I have something I have to do.

Ragnarok nods and goes to the phone.

Ragnarok: What would you like?

Rene: Anything at this point. I'll be in my room if you need me.

Rene kisses him on the cheek and walks into the master bedroom closing the double doors behind her. She passes by the copper colored framed mirror and walks to the bed sitting on the edge of it. The deep blue comforter draped over the bed, with matching pillows. The carpet was done in a light blue color that seemed to match the heavy drapes that hung n the tall windows. It had already been a long day and now all she wanted to do was relax. But there was one thing still weighing in on her mind... Genocide. The biggest match of the year and the one chance to get to the top and walk away with the Pinnacle Championship.

Rene: This is my chance to really prove myself. Genocide is not an easy match but I will do whatever it takes to get to the end. I know I have a long way to go. 12! I'm coming in at number 12! I have to get through 48 other people to get to the end... And I will do it. I know there are a few people that will be gunning for me and I'm not to worried about that. Brian and Creed just know that I will do everything in my power to take both of you down to show you that I am not afraid of you and to prove to you once in for all that Jennifer and I are worthy to have the tag team championships but first I have to get through not only you but the rest of your new little group as well. Fathi I have no clue what you're thinking but I have to admit getting away from the losers that held you back might actually work for you in the end... But not in this match. I have my sights on something bigger, better and you two are nothing but white trash.

Rene laughs as she walks to the window and pulls back the heavy curtains revealing another part of the park. The lights glisten in the night over the pathways as shadows move along the ground.

Rene: To my sisters I will ask you for your forgiveness in this match. We all want the Covenant to succeed but only one of us can make it to the top in the end. Jennifer you took me in and helped me train for this world, and we have stood shoulder to shoulder so may times but this is one time that we cannot. It's all for one... And that one will be me! Diamond you are in the same kind of boat as Jennifer. I respect you, love you as a sister but I'm afraid that I have to over step you and take what I want in the end. This is where it all begins for me, and is the end for all of you.

Her eyes flash into strange looking black pools once again before going back to their normal color.  She looks back at the double doors and smiles softly hearing a knock on the door.

Ragnarok: Room service will be here in about 20 minutes.

Rene: That's fine. Thank you.

The heavy footsteps move away from the door leaving the room in silence once more.

Rene: Ragnarok, I know that you will stand by m if I asked you to. I know that you will defend me no matter what, but this match is special. I want to see you get something that you deserve. But even I have to admit you would be the only other person that I would want to see get to the top and take the title other than myself. But even then that is a big if. I know you don't have dreams of grandeur but sometimes one has to step out of the shadow of another.

Rene opens the lap top that sat on the desk and soon sees a promo done by Evan Storm. Her eyes narrow as her fit clenches. He had been a thorn in most people's sides since he had shown up.

Rene: Evan Storm... A man that most of the roster despises! And we have good reason to hate you so. You have thrown your lot in with a group that have done nothing except take two titles. Two! They have been in this company for almost as long as I have and have done nothing! Anna got lucky... And so did Creed...And you... You held the Pinnacle title... For a whole 19 days! And who did you lose it to? Oh yes... The pathetic little excuse for a man Uh Oh! Pathetic!

Rene laughs once again, as she turns back to the window hearing the other promo's play.

Rene: Katsa... The young woman that I helped. You are... I must say that you are a bit unusual but then again that's what makes you, you. I have nothing against you but you haven't been back in the ring since the little one has been born. I have a feeling that you could handle yourself but I'm afraid of what might come when you step into the ring. As for the rest of your family and extended family I have to say that I know I have my work cut out for me, but I will not fall nor will I fail in this. This is my time to shine.

She pulls out the key for the room out of her pocket and a small card falls out of her pocket revealing the card that Seph had given her. Rene looks it over, as she turns back toward the window.

Rene: But there is one group that sticks out in my mind.... Apocalypse! Ever since you came into this company what have you done? You took two titles! TWO! But other than that... What have you done? NOTHING! You are thorn's in everyone's side and have done nothing more than keep spots warm in the middle of the ring. There are to many of you to even address separately.You are worthless in my eyes, and have yet to even prove yourselves. You have had shot after shot to get your hands on titles and each time you come up short. You really think that are you going to get by me in this match? Hardly! I'm going to rip you apart with my bare hands and make sure that you don't get anywhere near the end!

As Rene stares out the window her eyes shift into black pools with white slits, like that of an octopus. Her skin was starting to change into a light green color with what appears to be scales moving over her body. Her hair extends into what could be tentacles that reach down to the floor. Rene turns and looks at herself in the mirror and screams. Ragnarok runs into the room as one of the tentacles smashes the mirror. Another grabs Ragnarok and tosses him across the room. Rene staggers forward and soon falls to the floor as the scene fades to black.

Voice Over: They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But when I look upon this... I see a monster that has dwelt within me, and has now come to the surface. I truly am the Mother of Monsters!

The scene reopens a few hours later where we see Ragnarok starting to come to. He looks around the room and sees Rene still in the strange form lying on the floor. She was breathing, shallow, but still breathing. He looks her over and spots a small card in her hand. He pulls it out and looks at it seeing "Sephiroth du Lac Dunwhich New York."

Ragnarok: Du Lac...

He pulls a blanket off of the bed and wraps it around Rene. He heads to the front door, with Rene in his arms. He is soon in the hallway and heads to the elevator with her in his arms, as the scene fades to black.

[Dario Arturo Cortez]

Scene opens as we see our ncw camera man and ncw interviewer Maria Reyes dressed in nice, professional clothes. the camera man not so much.  They walk up to the building they were told their interviewer is. as they get closer the camera man say aloud..

Camera Man: * Gaylord Opryland Resort and convention center.

Maria Reyes: Interesting name.

She then takes out her phone as they are walking inside.

Maria Reyes: Well at least they have a pool and a restaurant here.

Camera Man: Well we are in Nashville. ye haw. ha ha. A pool and a restaurant. well that's something. but a guy like Cortez wouldn't be in a place like this unless it was the fanciest in Nashville.

They head towards the desk. The receptionist is dressed in the uniform that is assigned to him. we see his name tag it reads Diego. he quickly sees the camera.

Diego: Excuse me is that camera recording.

Camera Man: It is.

Diego: In order to protect the privacy of our customers, i am going to have to ask you to turn it off.

Maria Reyes: Look, Diego is it? Were just here to interview one of your customers. I am Maria Reyes and this is my camera man. we are from Neo Championship Wrestling and are here to interview one of our employees by the name of Dario Arturo Cortez. he's about 6 feet tall. a fit Latin American, he wears very expensive clothes.

Diego then types up his name.

Diego: Yes he is here. in our presidential suite. however i must insist that you stop recording until you get to his suite. otherwise i will have to call security.

Maria Reyes: Okay. fine. i understand.

The camera then cuts and fades to black.

Time then goes by as our camera is back online.

Camera Man: You know even though it might look like we've violated their policy here, we might have to edit that part there if we can.

They then walk up to the only room with double doors. they look at each other. Maria knocks.

Maria: Come on now..

Camera Man: Impatient much.

Maria: Really? that died out years ago, keep up with the times.

Camera Man: Still relatable

Maria: Shut up.

* As Maria goes to knock again the door opens as we see none other than the man himself Dario Arturo Cortez walk out into the hallway. Maria smiles at him. Dario smiles back. he is dressed a bit differently, his shirt is this years superbowl between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers & The Kansas City Chiefs along with a pair of plain athletic shorts that match the color of the shirt. he isn't wearing any footwear as well. *

Dario: Ahh if it isn't Santa Maria herself and your camera man.

Maria: You look different in a good way though.

Dario: What a guy can't " dress down" now and then? I know what you meant though. As our fans know i have thicker skin than that. I did call for you, but Interview promo's are still kind of looked down upon. fear not. you are not some eye candy for the camera here. i respect you as a interviewer and a journalist. otherwise i would not have requested you by name. However i wish to cut my promo for genocide here.

* he looks at the camera while maria just nervously stands there. since she is not interviewing him she does not quite know what to do. dario feels her nervousness and places his left hand on her right shoulder and pats her to calm her down.she sighs. we hear him gently tell her to come by later. she smiles as dario starts speaking.*

Dario: Genocide, genocide..a match unlike other battle royals where the winner is not given a number one contenders spot for a title or in this case THE top title in it's company, but BECOMES..THE champion in ncw the Pinnacle Champion. This pay per view for me marks the one year anniversary of my, with Mr. Creed at my side, joining Apocalypse. i just watched rene's promo for the second time, which later proved to be unnecessary. Rene's promo in my opinion she said very little. all she did was talk down to us. however almost all of her words were truthful. The words that were not truthful and simply her opinion, and that same opinion might be shared by most in this company, is that apocalypse is a thorn in everyone's side.

he smiles and then let's out a slight chuckle. he stops.

that was kind of the point. however we are no thugs or vermin. what fun would it be without a little chaos in ncw. If you or anyone in ncw actually thought about it a little more deeply. * his voice starts to change to a more authoritative voice* without chaos there is no need for order. unless dictatorship is what you were seeking in the first place. there would be no anarchy either  if everyone behaved like good little boys and girls, well life would be pretty boring.

Despite our roster's talent, it would be kind of boring here in ncw without us wouldn't it?.

* his voice speech quickens*

I mean all of the members of apocalypse we're fired before ncw had to close it's doors for a bit. but NOW..were back here aren't we? ncw could not even afford to get rid of us. with apocalypse in ncw , business is good for them. WE know it, THEY won't admit to it publicly, yet they say it with their actions because we are back and have been since we reopened. But short..closed minded people like yourself only see what YOU..WANT to see. You and those like you would seemingly cut your nose to spite your face. you cannot see the forest from the tress. and your proof was when you did not even say anything about us individually.

* he rubs his hands thru his hair visibly upset.*

We are what one would describe or could be seen as a " Necessary Evil " That comment and you saying that you will rip us apart, with those words your ignorance and arrogance  shown thru. and they will cost you. Yet after that we all saw what happened with you transforming? and then you on the floor as gasping for air. do not look to myself or anyone from our group for sympathy. I thought that we only employed HUMAN wrestlers. BUT perhaps as the horseman of death perhaps i should find you and finish you off before Du Lac or simply let nature take it's course. Either way you show up it will be you who will not make it to the finals let alone win.

Ragnarok, after our match i was told that you had a couple of words after our match. i had to watch it for myself. Thank you for your words. Unfortunately i was unable to fully execute the strategy that i had for our match. I leaned on the fact that i have faced those of your height and weight. but alas not all of over seven footers created equally. that was my mistake and it cost me. I know that i will be pointing out the obvious here and that is in a match such as this, everyone who is very tall such as yourself will have a big target on their backs. Of course i wonder is your loyalty to Rene so big that you would eliminate yourself if you and here were the last two left? or are you content with being the number one contender for the bamf title. Is that your fall back plan? I would not as they say, put your eggs all in one basket.?

he then starts to try to calm down

To my brothers and sisters in apocalypse. Evan, Anna i want to win this match just as much as you do. i do know that i will be extremely happy if any one of us would win this match. even if it wasn't me. But, this goes to the both of you. i will do what i must in order to win this match. Last time i was in a battle royal, it took more than one person, a low blow and ..something else in order to get me out of that ring. My number, my number is a good number. and i will make the best of it. That goes the same for the members of ncw's newest faction. The Foundation..congratulations Mr. Creed on you and Brian Kennedy winning the tag team titles so quickly. Of course it helped that it ended up being a 2 on 1 tables match. You can say that it's not your fault that tyler cross did not come to the ring with her or that it wasn't you fault that faithi backed out of the match. regardless i may not know that much about Brian Kennedy and what it would do to toss him over or maybe that would be someone else who would do it. but I DO know how stalker and Mr. Creed operate. and i would be a fool as to not exploit it. and believe me if it is down to us i will do what i must in order to win as i am sure the both of you would do to me.

short pause

Let us see how many brass knuckles our current bamf champion will bring with her to use in assisting her in this match. oh she will use them. mark my words. so watch out about her everyone. it's like she's the female ric flair..you know, " the dirtiest player in the game". Ric flair, not the one that everyone likes. And then there is the hillbilly who is to dumb enough to understand that i am making fun of him when i say it to him. sure you may have beaten me last time we faced each other. but we both know how you won that match.

Good luck to you dean tyler. you will need it.

To brian kennedy nothing against you. overall i have love for you. i enjoy your work. however you will not be winning this. both you and creed have targets on your backs by faithi, tyler cross and your new number one contenders for your tag titles..don't forget about them. My my wouldn't they love to be the one's that eliminates either or the both of you.

To Stalker Knight, i have never faced you nor brian kennedy. but i do know what it means to take on big men such as yourself. in most matches the big men are favored. however all i have to do in this match..is just duck or assist someone else in helping to eliminate you in order for you to have yet another pinnacle title opportunity that will slip thru your fingers.

I was impressed with hex girl and how long she lasted against two big men in a tables match against them no less. ORR where they just selling you, making you look good? i think it may have been both. but you will not be the one winning this match either. NOW these past few shows i feel as though i am as you say slipping a bit, i believe i have been to nice to my opponents. So it is time as the saying goes kick it up a notch. If you believe that i have been a tough person to face, an animal or as Ragnarok himself described me as an assassin. well that was me being nice and now it is time to NOT be nice anymore. and what a place to show that then at genocide.

I do not recall everyone else's name so forgive it. plus there are 60 people in this match. one cannot be expected to know or address all of them individually. that would make for a very long promo. I Am Not overlooking anyone in this match. I am willing to win as it's sad by hook or by crook. So you had better do the same. otherwise your dreams of retaining or becoming the new pinnacle champion will vanish. That's ALL i have to say about everyone.

*Dario seems to be catching his breath. just as the camera is ready to fade to black. WE then see the 6 ft 7 leader of Apocalypse, Stalker Knight who is also a member of the foundation. he is dressed in denim jeans with a black shirt that has the symbol for Indian Motorcycle. he exits the door it is left slightly cracked. as the hallway is not that big and he is, our camera crew has to back up. Without saying a word Stalker looks at Dario and smiles he puts his left hand into his left pocket like he is digging for something in his pants. he then pulls out two old looking keys, like a jailers keys from back in the day with a ring to hold them both. he puts them in Dario's left hand.*

Stalker: " I Know that I'm leaving everything in good hands, remember I am still here for our people, as is Elisya"

* he then walks past our camera crew who look befuddled as to what has just happened. the camera look left in stalkers direction as they wonder if they should follow him as they now have questions for him. the camera then turns to Dario who opens the door just enough as we see Anna & Evan sitting down on a long couch. the interviewer goes to ask dario a question, but the door shuts behind him. however we do hear the words " Now where were we". Maria then sighs and shrugs as she figures that is all they are going to get out of him. she gives the cut sigh as the camera fades to black..*

( * the resort there isn't misspelled. that's how they spelt it. lol. Also Stalker gave me permission to use his character. Those words are his via messenger. and despite my computer telling me otherwise according to stalker, Elisya is not misspelled. )

[Uh Oh]

The young man lift his head from his arms and wipes the side of his face that is paint free. The blood cleaned up and his head stitched. He looked around. His hand rubs absently over a red mark across his throat. He exhales slowly. He looks around at the dirty and dilapidated abandoned apartment he was staying at. cobwebs, garbage, and mildew fill the air. A dirty and undescribable smelling mattress sits on the floor with a makeshift blanket made from a blue tarp bunched up in the corner. He shivers slightly in his black leather jacket as the weather continued to grow colder. He stands and grabs some wadded up paper of various trash like newspapers and sandwich wrappers and tosses it into a metal can he dragged up three flights of stairs in his concussed state and tosses them into the low burning fire as the flames jump alive for a few more seconds. His breath visible from the chill. He looks at the smashed walls and the peeling paint. He sits against the wall digging into his pocket for his switchblade, bloodstained and in need of oil as it would sometimes not pop open when the button is pushed.

Voice: Are you going to do it this time?

He turned the blade over in his hand and held it across his arm where the blade had given it so many of its scars. The warm blood across his arm helped fight the cold but only for a short time. He doesn't seem to hear the voice or perhaps he hears it so often he no longer questions it. He knew he would need to fight again. The pain from cuts, bruises, fists and feet do not compare to the ache of an empty stomach and the burn of a parched throat. Besides, fighting helps his mind focus. The pain lets him know he still lives. But part of him wonders... Does he even wish to continue to exist? A pair of golden eyes seems to shimmer in the fire as a shadow moves across the wall. The cuts are jagged from the knicks of the well worn blade. Less of a cut and more of a rip and tear. The figure looks up and sees a pair of golden eyes in the shadow, instead of reacting with a jump like a normal person he merely turns his head and looks at the golden eyes.

Young Man: Are you there or is it the concussion and blood loss?

The shadow seems to form and we soon see that it Necra Octavian Kane. She is dressed in a leather jacket, and long black pants that seemed to match it. A pair of high heeled boots adorned her feet and her long raven hair framed her face ever so perfectly.

Necra: I am... Do you know how long I've been keeping an eye on you? Of course I'm not the only one…

He reached into his leather jacket pocket and pulled out a lollipop he grabbed from the hospital on his way out and pops it into his mouth. Using the sugar to stay awake and it being the only form of food he has had since he woke up.

Young Man: No...

His answer was short and a bit vague but he seemed to not be in the mood to be more specific.

Necra moves into the light of the fire and smirks.

Necra: Us reapers have a bet of when you would actually off yourself... I thought tonight might be it. I guess not.

The young man looks at her raising a questioning eyebrow.

Young Man: My life is your source of entertainment and income? Must be Sunday...

The young man shrugs without any concern of real feeling as if just accepting it as the way of the world. The young man puts the knife away and stand sup and shoves his hands into his pocket.

Young Man: So are you here to finish the job then?

His voice unwavering and lacking fear or really much of any emotion. A voice resigned to its fate. Necra shakes her head.

Necra: I can't touch you until you do the deed.

Young Man: Not a very scary spook are you then?

He walks past her and puts his hands over the barely going fire.

Young Man: So you just sit around and watch me? Do you not have anything better to do?

Necra folds her arms in front of her and sighs.

Necra: Actually I do... I have a match to get ready for. And I had to take time out of my busy day to check on you

His breath visible in the chill air as he blows on his hands and rubs them together. He puts them back in his pockets and looks at her. His eyes cold but dark with pain.

Young Man: Why? How much is this bet for? Nevermind, I don't care.

He walks past her. He looks out the broken window down to the streets covered with slush and dirty snow. People yelling and tires squealing as the slide across the road.

Young Man: So are you going to say I am too weak to do it or I am weak for thinking about doing it?

Necra: Not at all. I figure that you are here for a reason. After all your parents did name you Lazarus.

Young Man: It just doesn't seem to take...the deaths...

He places a hand against the dirty and peeling window pane.

Young Man: Lazarus... D...A...B.... dead at birth... the miracle child.... 7 homes in 12 years... the last one just loved the fact I just seemed to get back up after the beatings and the stabbing long after I stopped breathing…

Necra: I know. Like I said we've been watching for a long time.

Young Man: I'm not dead yet, and I promise I won't kill myself while you are at your wrestling match... okay? Anything else you want?

His voice just tinged with a dark harshness at the memories of the adult fist smashing in his twelve year old face and then his arm held against a hot stove. His fist tightened, bending the already warped wood.

Necra: Just a warning... I know you signed a contract with the same company I am with. Stay out of my way and you might survive your first match.

Young Man: I have to get ready to make some money, so unless your paying me for sex or violence. I think we are done here.

He snorts in regard to the contract comment.

Young Man: Its more of a try out to see if I "have what it takes" . So she threw me into the bggest match of the year against everyone on the roster. She was a bit vague on what to do to impress her.

He turns and steps towards Necra showing no fear, his eyes shimmering swirls of resignation to whatever terrible misfortune next awaits him. His warm breath visible in the cool air gently against her skin smelling of cherry lollipop as he waits to see her reaction to his lack of fear of her. Almost as if inviting his own destruction. Neca smirks as her eyes change to red before going back to their normal color.

Necra: If you manage to survive this match then you might be able to handle everything else that comes at you. But don't get in my way.

The young man stands staring at her.

Young Man: If I do...

He gent;y takes her hand and moves her hand around his throat.

Young Man: Are you going to finally end it for me? Will you choke me like you hate me? Will you finally snuff out my miserable existence for me? It sounds more and more like getting in your way is exactly the best path for me...

Necra smiles as she closes her hand around his neck.

Necra: I could... But it's against the rules I'm afraid... But in the ring... You're mine.

He looks at her almost pleading for her to do it.

Young Man: I look forward to it...

He chokes out as her hand tightens instead of struggling against her hand he grips it to try to ensure she continues to choke him. Necra smiles an almost sadistic smile as she feels his breath starting to leave him.

Necra: So do I....
He feels his head lighten as colors swirl behind his eyes and his legs shake. Her nails dig into his neck. He looks into her eyes, almost pleading for her to end it. No fear, just an anticipation that it will all finally be over. Necra lets go and lets him fall to the floor. Necra lets go and lets him fall to the floor.

Young Man: See you in the ring, next time.. don't hold back...

Necra steps back into the shadows with her eyes still glowing red.

Voice: The next we meet it will be your end.

Young Man: I hope so...

He says with a smile on his face.

The day of Genocide

The young man is walking into the arena. Suddenly Chris Clinton sees him and approaches him.

Chris Clinton: Hello, can I get a word with you?

Young Man raises a questioning eyebrow

Chris Clinton: Do you think it is smart coming here after the attacks you have performed on several wrestlers.

Young Man: Well it seems that it caught some attention since I was offered a contract and a spot in this match.

Chris Clinton: Are you serious?

Young Man: I am...

Chris Clinton: Do you think attacking some of the wrestlers will put a target on your back?

Young Man: I don't care.... you see I have been in brawls, fights, and rumbles. Fists, feet, bricks, knoives, and guns. I am not afraid. Now I am looking to hurt several people, but I can also use the money you see, I have something I need and the pay will help accomplish that. I also have vengeance on my mind.

Chris Clinton: Who are you after?

Young Man: Everything in due time....

Chris Clinton: Are you concerned about the various factions of mystery entrants?

Young Man: Apocalypse hates The Darkside who hates The Covenant who hates this or that. Honestly am I marked? Maybe, but so isn't anyone else. Guys like Ragnarok, Scott Stonewall, Mr. Creed, Stalker and Thor are marked for their size. Jeremiah Hardin, Adam Gatner, Brian Kennedy, Leon Dread are marked for their strength. Hex Girl, Johnny Reb, and Joanne are marked for their brawling. ario for his submission skills, Diamond Rose and Jennifer Enigma for their speed. Someone will be marked for some reason or another, out of threat level, reputation, or just hatred. All of that doesn't bother me.

Chris Clinton: What if they all gang up on you?

Young Man: So be it....

Chris Clinton: Before you go can I ask your name?

Young Man: Lazarus Zane...

He looks into the camera with a dead cold demeanor and walks past Chris Clinton.

[Uh Oh]

The scene opens in what appears to be a doctor's office. The walls were a dull white and the floors were done in the same white but seemed to almost shine in the lights overhead. The sound of heavy boots stomping on the floor back and forth as if pacing, along with anxious growling. The door to an office soon opens as a young woman with blond hair and a mask over her face steps out.

The Doctor: Ragnarok?

The hulking form of the mammoth Ragnarok turns and looks at the doctor.

The Doctor: Rene is awake. She wants to see you.

Ragmarok nods and walks behind the doctor to be shown to Rene's room. They pass through a hallway and soon stops in front of a room. The door opens and Sephiroth du Lac steps out and nods.

Seph: I must take my leave my good man. The Doctor will take good care of her.

Ragnarok nods and hurries into the room to check on Rene. Rene is still in the strange form with the long tentacles draped around her. She looks up and smiles softly.

Rene: Hey....

Ragnarok moves to be beside her with a look of concern on his face.

Ragnarok: Are you alright?

Rene: I'm fine. I still can't figure out what happened. I must look awful.

Ragnarok: Are you n pain?

Rene shakes her head.

Rene: No, I'm not in any pain. Just trying to figure out what happened. I don't remember anything.


You sent Today at 11:40 AM
Ragnarok: I found you like this on the floor calling out for Du Lac. I do not know what happened before that

Rene: I didn't mean to make you worry.

Ragnarok: Does the doctor have any idea what's going on?

Rene: Something to do with the DNA in my body. Scientific more than anything else. Don't worry about me. Focus on the match at hand.

Ragnarok: I will always worry about you, and in the match I will keep you safe when we are in the ring together.

Rene blushes under the strange dull green skin.

Rene: Thank you for watching out for me.

Ragnarok: It is my honor and pleasure. I will always watch out for you, but you need to rest and regain your strength if you are going to last long in the Genocide match.

Rene: I will. You have your work cut out for you. I'll rest and when I'm ready I'll be ready to train.

Ragnarok: We will train together. The championship will come home to The Covenant

Rene: That it will.

The doctor soon comes back into the room and smiles softly.

The Doctor: I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to leave so she can rest.

Ragnarok leans over and gently kisses her forehead and stands up and nods to the doctor. Rene smiles softly as she watches him walk out of the room.

A few days later

Ragnarok is seen walking into the arena his bags in hand as the energy of excitement fills the arena itself. We see Maria Reyes round the corner and sees Ragnarok walking toward her. He stops himself from running over her
Maria Reyes: Hey there big guy could I get a few words about Genocide?

Ragnarok: Make it quick

Maria Reyes: Of course. Well first off how is Miss Volkov?

Ragnarok: She is ready to compete and win tonight

Maria Reyes: That's good to hear. Tonight is going to be insane and you have a lot of big names in there. Do you think you'll be able to handle yourself in the ring?

Ragnarok: I am the largest competitor in the ring, I have been fighting all my life and I have my sisters and Rene watching my back. I am confident The Covenant will come out on top.

Maria Reyes: True. Most of their numbers are pretty low. What about you?

Ragnarok: Been spying on everyone's numbers? I won't tell you my number no reason to give away any advantages. Just know when I come into the ring all Hell will break loose.

Maria Reyes: I'm sure you will. Do you have any words for your opponents before the match tonight?

Ragnarok: Welcome to the world of pain

Ragnaok brushes past her on the way to the locker room.

[dagger]

Hex Girl goes to the top rope as Creed stands… Flying spinning Heel kick! NO! Creed ducks her first leg and catches her and drives her to the mat with a powerbomb he holds on and unleashes BAM BAM ON HER!

Johnny Grimes: This is not good!

Creed holds on and lifts her up...PRIDE KILLER THROUGH THE TABLE!!!

DING DING DING

Chastity Muse: The winners of the match and new NCW Tag team Champions Mr. Creed, and Brian Kennedy The Foundation!!!

Johnny Grimes: They did it!

DB: Brian and Creed are now the new tag team champions!

Johnny Grimes: Fathi doesn't look to happy about it!

Fathi shakes his head, takes off his Thug Revolution shirt, pulls out a lighter and sets it on fire before leaving to the backstage area.

Scott watches backstage on a monitor.

What the hell? Is Fathi walking away from Thug Revolution? Where does he stand now? Sure, he won his match against Stalker and got the number one contender shot. But, is he on his own now?

Grabbing his duffel bag with his ring gear Scott headed to the parking lot. Genocide is coming and there are a lot more questions than answers. If he was going to be on his own he was going to go for the top tier title, the Pinnacle championship. It would not be an easy task. But, if it was not his time when was?

Getting on his Harley Scott brought up the kick stand and drove off leaving the stadium in the rearview.

Present Day
Memphis, TN

The alarm rang by the bed. Scott looked over at the digital numbers:

8:00 A.M.

He had set the clock the night before. He was already one of the largest men that would enter the Genocide match. But, Scott knew from experience that size would not be enough. He needed stamina and speed. The ability to endure and to have those fast reflexes was vital.

Throwing his feet over the side of the bed Scott stretches before standing up. After washing up he changed into some camouflage shorts, some white running shoes and a black A-line shirt. Walking down the winding stair case he headed out back to the gym. Most people wouldn’t even think he lived in such a house.

But, then again, most people would think his career in wrestling paid for it. Truth be told it was a combination of money saved back from wrestling, money from sells when he was running Stonewall’s Brigade and insurance money from when mamma had died. With Greek columns and an overhead for the front porch, it was deep in the heart of Germantown. It almost mirrored the house in ‘The Boondock Saints’ scene where the sons get into a fire fight with their father.

Scott smiled at the thought.

Truth be told its resemblance to that scene had been one of the deciding factors for him. He liked the fact that it was secluded. He loved the fact that it had four bathrooms and the three-car garage was especially appealing. But, the uncanny resemblance to the house from that scene was the icing. He had to have it.

Moving to Memphis was a big move. But, he had wanted something new. He had still been dealing with the death of mamma and wanted somewhere he could train, privately. He wanted to be able to recompose himself, physically and mentally.

Opening the side door of the garage Scott stepped in. His Harley was off to the far wall next to the truck. But, he had built a small gym in the rest of the garage. A large projector screen was on the far wall opposite the Harley and the truck.

Directly in front of the projector is a treadmill. Reaching to the cup holder he grabs a remote and turns on Rocky III. Clicking on scene Scot Forge to right before Rocky begins training for his rematch.

Setting the remote back inside the cup holder Scott set the treadmill at 6 and hits start. Watching Rocky train Scott let's his mind wander. This would be more than a comeback. Come Genocide would be Scott's chance to finally prove himself.

Sure, there would be lots of young talent. But, more than that Genocide would be Scott's opportunity to show he can finally win that top tier title. Not only will it be his chance to be the top champion but it would give him the opportunity to show once and for all that he IS better than Sickle. Time and again he had played second tier.
Thinking about Sickle Scott grits his teeth and begins running faster.

ONE HOUR LATER

Stopping the treadmill Scott steps off and walks over to a small fridge. Reaching into the fridge Scott grabs a water bottle. Closing the fridge Scott walks over to the weight bench and sits down. A towel sits in the middle of the bench. Grabbing the towel Scott starts drying himself off.

A knock at the side door.

It's open

Two guys come in dressed in all black carrying electrical equipment and a camera.

"Just set up wherever"

"okay"

The two men start plugging in. After less than ten minutes they walk over to Scott.

On Camera

The scene opens showing the entirety of the garage.

Zooming out the camera focuses on Scott Stonewall sitting on the weight bench.

Scott smiles

Scott Stonewall: Everyone thinks that war is about technology and physical conditioning. Those things certainly play a factor but at the end of the day it is about being aware. It is about reflexes and stamina and this match at Genocide will be no different. I am not just training my body.

He taps his head with his index finger before continuing.

Scott Stonewall: People like Ragnarok come into this match thinking size is an advantage. Veterans like myself know better. The bigger the wrestler in a match like this; the bigger the target. I have no delusions.

Scott shakes his head amused.

Scott Stonewall: You are a big man? Guess what? Genocide doesn't give a fuck! You got muscles? Guess what? Genocide doesn't give a fuck! You got lots of titles? You're really fast? Guess what?

The camera zooms in on Scott's face.

Scott Stonewall: Genocide don't give a fuck!

Scott leans forward with a grimace as the camera pulls back.

Scott Stonewall: There are far too many cats to name all of em. But, there are some serious mother fuckers coming to this match, many of them have already been listed and talked about. But, unlike all these other stupid fucks, I am NOT dumb enough to overlook you...SICKLE! I know what you are capable of.

Standing up Scott walks towards the camera. A rage, a fire, burns in his eyes.

Scott Stonewall: I know that you can win this that or the other with this match. But, I am coming ONLY for the Pinnacle Championship. If that means I have to toss Fathi, Sickle, Tyler Cross, Leon Dredd, Ragnarok, Rene Volkoff, Hex Girl, Stormy Daniels, the ghost of Christmas past, Papa Smurf or Dora the fucking explorer I do not give a good God Damn! I don't care if I have to pull some Swan Lake, trapeze circus shit I am NOT going over that mother fucking top rope.

Scott pauses. A sneer crosses his face.

Scott Stonewall: Let me sum this up for you. I don't give a fuck about your darkness, your book of death, your Party City costumes, your ghetto upbringing, how great you were in yesteryear, how lightning brought you back to life, how your parents didn't play with you or what the fuck ever. I am coming to win and seeing as how I have made my fucking point, if you don't like what I said here today or wanna give some bullshit reason about how I am wrong or what the fuck else guess what? I DON'T GIVE A FUCK!!

The camera pulls back showing the veins in Scott's neck pulsating, his jaw clenching and his eyes piercing.

Fade to Black

Hex Girl is in her home gym practicing some high flying jumps, flips and kicks in the ring as the camera enters. She notices and stops her practice and starts pacing around the ring like a caged tiger as she motions the camera to come closer. Once the camera is at ringside she starts talking as she paces with an aggressive energy.



There is a saying that goes things happen by either accident or design. When it comes to design it doesn't matter if you think that design is by that of a higher power or of the machinations of others. What matters when it comes to design is that it means somewhere at some level there was an intent directed towards you for good or ill. A lot of people have made comment about what happened at Battery. I know that my opponents Kennedy and Creed were probably thrilled that they were facing a single opponent and not a cohesive tag team. I'm not going to speculate that if Cross had bothered to step out to the ring with me whether or not he would have worked with me or against me. That is irrelevant at this point. The facts are he and Fathi chose to hang me out to dry, and by his little display Fathi announced the end of the Thug Revolution. I say what happened at Battery was by design and malicious design at that. If anyone paid attention to what I said before that match I said that my relationship with Thug Revolution would go one of two ways and now that I see which way it has gone I will act accordingly.



She holds up a poker chip with the number 47 printed in gold on it.



I've received my entry number for Genocide. Someone with a sense of humor thought it was fitting to send it this way. Maybe they are trying to tell me I'm gambling with my health and safety, maybe they are encouraging me to play the odds, who knows. If the odds are in my favor I might get an opportunity to eliminate a few people who have earned my distain.



She looks at the camera rather pointedly



You know who you are.



She holds her gaze at the camera for a few uncomfortable moments before she begins pacing and speaking again.



I don't know what entry number my allies have received, To my allies know if I eliminate you in this match it's just business. To the rest of the roster, if I hold no current grudge with you what happens in the ring at Genocide between us is just business. To those who have earned my distain, my ire, or with whom I hold a grudge every blow I land and your subsequent elimination is one hundred percent personal.



She paces around in silence for a moment taking a few deep cleansing breaths.



Ya know what fuck it. This is Genocide everyone is paying attention at this point. To all of the ladies I don't care if you are on the Assault or Battery roster. We have allied ourselves with different factions for one reason or another. It doesn't matter if those reasons are family, lust, love, loyalty born of friendship, or some other unnamed reason but are you absolutely certain of those ties? If there is a shadow of a doubt in your heart, or if you currently have no one I extend an offer.



She stops pacing and hold a hand out towards the camera.



There was a time I was part of a group of women called The Sorority. We were the most violent and feared women in the industry at the time. Join me and lets make a new Sorority of Pain together.



The scene fades to black as she starts laughing. The audio of her slightly unhinged laugh continues after the image is gone and replaced by the NCW logo.

The scene shows a dark room only backlit by an open doorway a female silhouette is moving in the dark apparently rushing to get packed. A shorter male figure enters the room and stops her hurried movements by embracing her.



Man: (He speaks with a very mild Asian accent) Are you in such a hurry?



Woman: (She speaks with a light Scandinavian accent) I have to. I just got confirmation of being accepted and received my entry number. I need to get down to Tennessee and be ready to go.



His silhouette nods and releases her to allow her to continue her packing. He pulls something out of his pocket.



Man: I have something for you then.



He hands her the object. In the backlight a mask can be made out some sequins and beads sparkling in the sparse light.



Woman: It's beautiful.



Man: I made it for you. I designed it after the Alcyoniids. In Greek myth they were the daughters of Alkyoneus, king of the giants. His daughters were nymphs and when he was slain by Hercules they flung themselves into the sea in their grief. Amphitrite, Goddess of the Sea and wife of Poseidon transformed them into ice birds or kingfishers rather than let them die. The Alcyoniids signify prosperity, joy, liberation and tranquility. It's the mask that was missing from the dojo.



She gives him a big hug meshing their two silhouettes into one. After a long pause they separate and she goes back to packing.



Man: What number did they give you?



Woman: 53. It's close to the back of the pack so odds are good. Puts me seven from the end so I'll still be fairly fresh by the time the last person comes out. But depending on how voracious the fighting is and how quick the eliminations are it could still be a clusterfuck. I have to be ready for anything. I've been teaching for years now so I am far from rusty, but it's been a while since I've been in this type of match. I can't afford to have anything else stacked against me. That's why I need to hurry. The sooner I can get settled and rid myself of any jet lag the better.



Man: Let me grab a bag. I'm coming with you. It's not that I don't trust this roster but ....



He's cut off as she gives him a kiss.



Woman: I can wait that long. But no coming to the rescue. Are we clear?



Man: Yes, we are. Even if you forgive me I know someone else who won't if I do.



Woman: We might be both asking for her forgiveness after this. Come on let's get moving.



The two hurriedly finish packing and leave the room through the lit doorway the only detail one can catch of the couple aside from their heights is hair color. He has dark hair and hers is either white or light blonde. As they leave the click off the light plunging the space into darkness.

Act 1: Spring Cleaning

The scene opens on the beautiful New York countryside. The sun was high in the sky, and glistened on the snow below. The sound of birds echoed through along the breeze as the camera moved over the long stretch of road, that wound itself through the countryside. The town of Dunwich is soon seen and is passed over and toward the massive manor that sat above the town. It was quiet, and the lights were ll dimmed once again for another day. The smell of a smoke escaping from the chimney made it a pleasant scene as birds sung their sweet songs. The camera moves to the interior of the massive estate passing by the long staircase with the red runner down the middle of it and the polished brass railings that glistened in the late afternoon sun. In the long hallway he sound of voices could be heard coming from an open door. The musty smell came from the attic mixing with the smell of mothballs that had seemed to long since faded. Footsteps are heard coming from the hardwood floor. The camera moves up the stairs and into the massive open space where we see boxes piled up, along with a few trunks that had been put away and left to gather dust. We soon see Emily sitting in front of  box filled with trinkets from times past. The sound of high heels click along the floor and we see Cleo holding what looks like a piece of soft fabric in her hands.

Cleo: Look what I found.

Emily looks up pushing a piece of hair back from her face.

Emily: What is it?

Cleo: It's one of the scarfs I made you back in the day. It's like new.

Emily looks it over and smile feeling the silk run through her hands.

Emily: Is there a dress that goes with it?

Cleo: If I'm not mistaken it was your wedding gown. I'm sure it's up here somewhere.

Emily: I was surprised that Seph wanted to clean out the attic.

Voice: Every once in a while he needs to. He keeps everything.

Sothren walks into view with a comic book in his hands.

Emily: Where did you find that?

Soth: In one of the boxes over there.

Emily: Be careful with that.

Soth: Don't worry it's just a copy of the one he has in a case anyway in his study.

Emily sighs and gets to her feet and walks to another corner of the attic.

Voice Over: It's hard to believe what is actually up here. I don't think I've ever seen this much stuff in one place. I think I just forget how long he has been around and what he has seen. He has won countless titles, and known through out the wrestling world. I don't know whether I should be worried that is he after the one title that he has not gotten his hands on or should I try for it again? I mean I'm not going to lay down and let anyone win that easy. I'm going to stand and fight.

She knocks over a box and pictures spill out from it. She bends down and starts to pick them up. Cleo stands over her and smiles softly as she sees the picture that Emily has in her hands. It was of Seph, Sothren, Cleo and Denise dressed in clothes that were from the wild west.

Cleo: I remember that.

 Emily: Where was that taken?

Cleo: I do believe that was in Nevada just after they robbed the train.

Emily: What?

Cleo: Oh yeah. Seph and Sothren hit one of the payroll trains while Denise and I kept certain people busy in the brothel.

Emily: I see... What about this one?

She pulls out a picture of the four of them on the deck of a boat. They are all wrapped in blankets leaning against the railing as they looked out over the water.

Soth: I remember that one!

Emily: Really?

Soth: Yep!

Emily: Are you going to tell me or do I have to guess?

Cleo: I would rather you didn't tell her.

Emily: It has to be bad if you don't want me to know.

Cleo: It's a night I would rather not remember.

Soth: Oh let me tell her! It's worth it!

Cleo sighs leaning against the windowsill.

Soth: So, the day that picture was taken we had been brought to New York on a rescue ship.

Cleo: We wouldn't have been on that ship if you didn't remove the wards.

Soth: I didn't know it was going to happen.

Cleo: If wouldn't have... Anyway the ship got into a collision and well... It sunk. We managed to get into a life boat but I drowned him more than once that night while were waiting for help to come.

Emily: That's all?

Cleo: Yes. I had brought a sarcophagus on board with me and I had put wards around it to keep it from causing harm. But it didn't happen that way.

Emily laughs as moves further back in the attic once again.

Voice Over: I've managed to win Genocide and take the Pinnacle Championship not once but twice. I know everyone will be gunning for me just to make sure that I don't get to the end. Of course with the number I got... I might actually get there in the end. Merxy you and I have gone toe to toe more than once and look where I am and what I have. I'm in line to get the big title and you really think that you are going to get that title without a fight on your hands. Ad if you think Dean is going to help you think again. It's all out fight to get to the top and take the Pinnacle title for yourself. That's why I find this match even harder this year. Not only do I have Seph to worry about, but Necra and Joanne and Ex. All of us have our sights set on what is on the line... Of course I don't see this as personal... It's just business.

She passes by a harp that sat against the wall and runs her hand along the strings as she continues to move through the attic.

Voice Over: Evan... Another pathetic fool that is under the boot of a group of people that don't even matter to me. You think that you have everyone's loyalty when you have nothing. How long before they turn on you like you did to Masters? How long do you think you'll stay in their favor when you don't manage to capture any titles of your own? Not long. Katsa I'm glad to see that you are back to your usual self and are willing to step into the ring once again. I would love to face off against you and see just how good you really are. I know Dread will come at us with everything that he has as well and I wouldn't expect anything less from either one of you.

Emily smiles as she sees a shelf filled with books that were covered in a thin layer of dust. She runs her hand along them looking at the titles.

Voice Over: Uh Oh I know that you will help Joanne get as far as she can, but she really doesn't need the help. You do if you decide to step into the ring this time around. I know you have the strangest luck going and I'm not even sure why that is. Rene you have your own issues and I have to say I do feel sorry for you. You are dealing with something that lives within your body and it seems to be fighting with you. Ragnarok I know that you will protect her and help her to the end. I'm afraid that I can't do that. I want to get to the end and I plan on doing whatever it takes to get it once again. I know the two of you will fight me to the end if nothing else and I welcome the challenge.

She passes by more boxes and soon she stops in her tracks as she stares at a faded white wedding dress on a mannequin. Her eyes go wide as she stares at it.

Emily: It's beautiful.

Tabitha: It was mine...

Emily: He kept it?

Voice: Of course I did. I didn't have the heart to throw it away.

Emily turns and sees Seph standing behind her.

Emily: That's sweet of you. It's a shame that it has holes in it.

Seph: It is over a 100 years old.

Emily: It needs work done to it.

Cleo: I can fix it up.

Emily: I would like that. Maybe even base my new wedding gown on the style.

Cleo: It's my old work. I don't look back darling.

Seph: Whatever you want dearest.

Emily smiles softly as Seph kisses her on the cheek before picking up the mannequin and heading back toward the other part of the attic.

Voice Over: Dario another pathetic fool that believes in whatever Stalker tells him. You he lie right to your face and you would believe him wouldn't you? Of course you would. You are a follower and nothing more. You think you actually have a chance against my beloved, myself anyone in the Darkside? What have you done that makes you special? Nothing. You've lost more matches then you've won, and choked every time that you get a shot at a title. Do you think that's going to change in this match? Hardly. You have never impressed anyone let alone done anything of worth. But me... I've held three championships and won Genocide. Lazarus I'm not sure what to really think about you. You are strange and unusual and seem to have caught Necra's eye. That's never a good thing. I'm sure you'll fight with everything that you have and try to claim victory but I'm afraid you're not going to win this one.

She continues to go through the boxes near her, pulling out a few odds and ends before setting them aside.

Voice Over: I could continue with those that have spoken, but why bother? Scott you have no clue what you are about to face. All you seem to care about is taking down one person and that is never a good thing. Sickle... Who cares about him or you for that matter? I don't because I've never heard of you, seen you in any matches... Oh wait yeah I did... Yippie! You won a match! I've been a champion a few times over now and you really think you're going to beat me? You can try, but I'm afraid you are going to fail just like everyone else will.

Emily smirks as she comes across a painting of Seph in a British uniform. She smiles softly as she stares at the picture.

Voice Over: I'm not sure what to think about him being in this match. It's not the first time that we have faced off in this type of match. Neither one of us managed to get to the end last year, but this time I know he's going to do everything and anything to get to the top. I'm not going to stay back and let him at least not without a fight. I'm not sure if he will take it personal or if he will realize that he still holds a championship and so do I. But if it somehow manages to come back to either one of us that would be the perfect start to this year for both of us. But I think my love would understand if I made it to the end in this one. She turns and sees a picture of a beautiful red haired woman dressed in a long flowing gown. Emily stares at it for a moment before she turn and looks over her shoulder.

Emily: Darling... Who's this?

Seph's eyes seem to fill with sadness as he looks at the painting.

Seph: Rebecca...

Emily looks shocked but he seems as if he is lost in a memory as the scene fades to black.
