*The camera falls on the interior of Du lac Manor during the massive holiday party. All around people make merry and light as the camera pans around the many laden rooms. In the living room Seph sits at the piano while Joanne, Emily, Denise, Uh-oh, Cleo and even Sothren sing Christmas carols. In the hallway a massive tree nearly two stories tall stands. All around it people of various origins laugh and talk. Even Allura the Vice President of NCW is there with JC beign warm and friendly chatting with others both in the business and without. The camera finally pans over to the buffet table in the dining room and it is packed, golden roasted turkey, Glazed ham, cooked goose, shrimp, sausage balls, and loads of sides and appetizers dart the table. The smells of each wafting in the air. Another nearby table holding punch and other libations including Seph's own patented "Smoking Bishop" punch. An old mulled wine recipe. And here among the plates of Meatball wellingtons and sauced cocktail weinies we see him. The Executioner standing quietly picking at the food on his plate looking heavily distracted. He seems lost staring into the tray of meats while periodically looking across the room. As the camera peers over his shoulder to where he stares we see Necra standing in a beautiful and elegant Black and silver dress with a poinsetta on the front. She stands talking to Candi and a small asian woman but when she looks up at him he quickly turns his head back to his food as if trying not to be seen. From behind him suddenly a clap is felt on his back as Johnny steps up behind him. Yes, Johnny Reb clad in his black cowboy hat which dons a wreath of holly about it. A simple ugly christmas sweater t-shirt on with pictures of beer bottles and snowflakes which reads "I'm drinking for a white christmas". He just smiles warmly as Ex sort of just turns his head to acknowledge him.*

J.R.: Hey, biggun! Helluva shindig ol' fang-face is hostin' ain't it?

*Ex barely looks up.*

Ex: Hmmm... yeah.

J.R.: You know I wasn't sure about comin' at first but I got to say it's been fun. Just weird to see ol' Lestat actin' like he's George Bailey Lugosi.

*Ex doesn't respond still picking at his fod as Johnny looks at Ex expectantly.*

J.R.: George Bailey Lugosi, I said.

*Again Ex doesn't look up not saying a word or acknowledging the comment.*

J.R.: It's a joke, son. You get it? Hey, big man?

*Johnny grabs Ex by the arm to shake him then notices the plate of food still half loaded.*

J.R.: Holy hell! There's food on that tray. What's wrong?

*Ex sighs frustrate.*

Ex: It's nothin'... just... nothin'

*Johnny draws an arm around his large pal and says reassuringly*

J.R.: Somethin's gotcha down in the dumps. Now, come on, you can tell me. We're partners ain't we? That's in the ring and out. Now, come on, tell good ol' Johnny Reb yer troubles. Is it that big guy over there with Necra now? Is that buggin' ya?

*Ex looks up weakly and sees a large muscular toned man with no shirt and a metal mask nodding at Necra as she introduces Candi to him.*

Ex: No, that's just my little brother, Abel.

*Johnny looks at Ex in surprise*

J.R.: Little brother?

*Johnny looks again lowering his trademark oakley's to get a better look. The man looks ripped as hell and just as tall as Ex. Johnny just turns back and shakes his head.*

J.R.: Whatever yer momma fed you boys I think it was enough. Sheesh.

*Johnny then turns back still seeing Ex depressed however he changes the subject back to him*

J.R.: Come on, I'm yer best friend. What's buggin' y'all is buggin' me. So what is it?

*Ex sighs again and closes his eyes*

Ex: I don't know, man. It's just after the match I just. I feel like I blew it, you know. I mean I had it right there. I'd already beaten him and then it's like I just lost and I can't stop thinkin' about it.

J.R.: Shit. Is that all? Lots of people lose matches, man. You and I both lost a few. That ain't nothin' to get upset about.

*Ex looks up anger and frustration and even a bit of desperation clear in his deep gravelly voice.*

Ex: Yeah, but I really tried this time, man. And I blew it. It's got me thinkin' you know... maybe I'm not good enough. Maybe they're right about me. And if not good enough for that. Maybe I'm not good enough for...

*He lets his words trail off as he looks over at Necra again an upset look on his face even under the mask. But Johnny looks at him defiant and grabs him by the shoulder.*

J.R.: Bullshit!

Ex: What?

*Johnny strikes him along the face with a cold hard slap and shakes him by his shoulders*

J.R.: That's bullshit! Yes, you lost and it sucks ass but sometimes if you do everything right no matter what you do you still lose. That's life. That's just how it goes in this business. That's the butt end of the gun on it but that don't mean anything is wrong with ya. You made it to a title shot when everyone counted you out. I didn't think it would mean that much to ya, big guy. But I know somethin' else that means more. And if you give that up then yeah they are "right about ya" cause only a coward runs away from a good woman and I know spooky. Deep down under all that mascara and creepy cult voodoo she's a good girl and she needs a good guy like you. Y'all don't want some jackass clown datin' her do ya?

*Ex begins to shake his head in acknowledgement.*

Ex: Yeah. You know she used to date a clown.

J.R.: Considerin' her daddy's Sothren I'm not surprised. My point is you just got to hunker down and do it, man.

Ex: But... but what if I don't get another chance? What if I don't ever get a shot again?

*Johnny looks one way then another seeing if anyone is watching before leaning in and whispering to Ex*

J.R.: *Whispering* You didn't hear this from me, man, but I got to jawin' a spell with Allura. She says you impressed and considerin' we both lost she put us in the runnin' fer the tag titles.

Ex: REALLY?!

*Johnny shushes Ex with a single hand and looks about again nodding conspiratorially.*

J.R.: That's right and get this it's against Dredd. So, biggun, you get yer payback and we get a shot at some gold again.

Ex: Alright. That sounds great!

J.R.: Damn skippy, son.

*Ex stops though for a moment and then looks at Johnny curiously*

Ex: Wait. Who's the partner?

J.R.: What?

Ex: The partner. Dredd's partner. It's a tag match right? So he has to have a partner?

*Johnny just stops stepping back and scratching the back of his head before he tips his head repeatedly in a motion to him awkwardly. At first Ex doesn't understand but then he turns his head and looks at necra again and you can see the wheels turning in his mind. Finally something clicks and Ex looks at Johnny with a paniced look.*

Ex: Her?! We gotta fight her?!

J.R.: Now, now Ex it's not a big deal.

Ex: Not a big deal!

*A few guests look over at the awkward two as Johnny just tries to calm Ex down.*

J.R.: Big guy, big guy, calm down. Yer scarin' the weirdos. Now we can handle this okay. You can do it. She ain't gonna hold it against ya. It's just business, now we got this. Right? We got this...

*Ex looks at Johnny determination forming as Johnny looks him dead in the eye*

Ex: You're right. We got this.

J.R.: Yeah, we got it. Dredd ain't gonna know what hit him!

Ex: Yeah, we're gonna crush him like a paper cup.

J.R.: Gonna stomp a mudhole in him!

Ex: I'm gonna pound him in to the mat.

J.R.: And I'm gonna give 'em the ol' one two.

*Ex begins to twist the metal food tray in his hands a new crazed look on his face as the meat falls to the floor.*

Ex: And I'm gonna reach my hand down his throat and grab his spine and rip it out of his back before I break it!

*Johnny just stops and Ex looks at him dropping the tray loudly and holding up his hands as if he did something wrong.*

Ex: Too much?

J.R.: Might want to tone it down. Ya know... a little.

*Johnny holds up his fingers showing a small inch of space between them as Ex nods.*

Ex: ok. But I mean what do we do about Necra. I mean she really wants to win too I imagine.

J.R.: I know, big man, but trust me. You leave ol' spooky ookey to me. You just concentrate on doin' what ya got to do to win. But first y'all got some unfinished business I think.

*Johnny points to Ex's pocket and Ex looks down and smiles with renewed confidence.*

Ex: You're right. I got to do this. You got this until I come back?

*Johnny just smirks*

J.R.: I'll hold down the fort. Y'all go getcha girl. I'll be here.

*Ex just smiles and nods to his partner walking out of camera shot toward Necra as Johnny looks to the camera.*

J.R.: Boys dumb as box of rocks but he's got heart. More heart then you Dredd. You tried to crush his dreams and though he shook yer hand it shook him up. But ol' Johnny Reb is here now and that means my boys got back up. What's more he and I got somethin' else. opportunity. See you may dismiss me because I ain't like Spooky and the rest of these Goth Band rejects but I'm here to tell ya that you maybe metal but me and my partner Ex is Country and rock n roll person-nee-fied. Yeah, you've had success. You even beat my boy... once! But you ain't got a snowballs chance now my friend. New year. New us! And we are comin' out swingin'. Now spooky ookey, I respect ya. Once more I love ya like the sister i never had. That's sayin' somethin' right there. But I ain't afraid to face off with ya. I know you'll give me an Ex a fair shake but we ain't gonna give ya nothin'. I'm ridin' in... the cowboy and I'm bringin' hell with me. When it comes to me and Ex, well we're just a couple of outlaws and outsiders.

*Johnny stops for a moment thinking thoughtfully.*

J.R.: Hmm that's kind of catchy. Anywho, we comin' to bring the pain. We comin' to win. And after it's all done maybe we could all pick each other up give a big hug and get some nachos on me. How's it sound you two? Good? Alright. Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna check the alcohol content on that punch over there.

*Johnny turns and runs right smack dab into Abel who towers over him and stands uncomfortably close. He stares down at Johnny silently an intensity in his eyes as Johnny just pauses*

J.R.: Oh... hey. Abel right?

*The tall masked figure says nothing just staring down at johnny as he tilts his head.*

J.R.: I'm... uh... Johnny. Yer brother's friend. He's told me so much about ya.

*Abel says nothing instead he grabs johnny's shoulders and pulls him in wrapping him in a heavy hard bear hug one not meant to hurt but filled with affection though still crushing*

J.R.: Oh... whoo. We got a hugger. Oof... Happy New Year y'all. Oh god. Abel that's enough. Yeah, thank you. Oh...

*And thus we leave poor Johnny still getting a warm family greeting of crushed bones and collapsed lung as the scene fades to black.*

Act 1: A Christmas Surprise


"Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. It's not just the presents its the fact I get to see all of my family. My real family. It's the one time of year that I can relax and sit back even it's just for one night."


The scene opens on the beautiful New York countryside. The snow had fallen once again, giving a feeling of beauty and peace across the countryside. The stars were shinning over head and the moon was bright against the midnight blue sky. The camera moves along a long stretch of road and soon we see an all to familiar house loom out of the darkness. The Du Lac Manor that seems to be out of place in the modern world but it was lit from top to bottom and the decorations glistened in the evening as the lights shimmered in the yard. The camera moves to the interior of the manor where we see it decorated with pine boughs that gave off a fresh smell of pine only to mix with the smell of baked goods, and fresh ham and turkey that seemed to drift on the air from the kitchen. The camera moves into a massive ballroom where we see familiar faces scattered through the room. We see Joanne standing with the guys talking with a few other people. The camera shifts once again and we see Seph sitting at a black grand piano playing Christmas Carols. We soon see Necra walking away from where Johnny stood dressed in a long black and silver gown, with a silver scarf wrapped around her shoulders. Her long hair was pulled back with a silver clip and poinsettia. Her high heeled sandals click along the beautiful sparkling floor and sees Ex standing near the buffet table. She sighs, knowing something was up. He had been avoiding her all day and tonight had been no different.


Voice Over: Maybe he knows... Or maybe it's something that I did... I'm trying to figure out what it is, but I can't. I hope Johnny can talk some sense into him.

Voice: Earth to Necra... Are you in there?

Necra snaps from her thoughts as she sees Candi standing in front of her. Necra sighs as she nods.

Necra: Sorry... I was just...

Candi: Are you alright?

Necra: Yes... No... I don't know...

Candi: Something's wrong. You're not usually this quiet about anything.

Necra: It's Ex... I mean he's been avoiding me all day and now... It hasn't been any different.

Candi: I'm sure it's nothing. Johnny is talking with him so he'll find out what's going on.

Necra: Maybe he knows that we have to face off against each other...

Candi: I don't think that's it.

Necra: I'm worried about this one... We've never faced off against each other before.

Candi: You know they will do everything to win.

Necra: So will I. I don't know what to do. I mean I'm not going to hold back.

Candi: You know they wouldn't want you too.

Necra: I know that's why I can't hold back. Dread and I have been after those tag titles since NCW reopened. They don't belong to the ones that hold them right now...

Candi: I'm sure it's nothing that Ex can't handle. I mean he knows that it's not personal.

Necra smiles some as she nods.

Necra: I guess you're right... I'm going to go and get some air.

Candi: Alright. If you need to talk, I'll be right here.

Necra smiles and walks off heading toward the balcony doors. She opens them and steps out into the coolness of the night. She pulls the scarf around her, as the wind blows around her.

Necra: This has not been an easy night. Tonight was going to be a night where I didn't have to worry about anything but Ive been trying to figure out why Ex has been avoiding me and how to tell him if he doesn't already know that we are going to face each other. It's never happened before. I mean never. Ex and I have been on the same team or we've been at each other's side. And now... Now I have to put him down and move on to something that I want.

She walks along the balcony watching the room all the while. She sees Ex talking to Johnny and sighs.

Necra: Best friends... That is one word that I never thought I would say. I always thought it would just be Ex and myself but when Johnny came into the picture... It became the three of us. And then Candi... I hate to admit it but she's become my best friend in all of this. Now I'm being asked to push all of that aside to face off against my boyfriend and his best friend. Both of them are tough fights and I know that I have to leave all of my personal feelings outside of the ring, and do what needs to be done in the middle of the ring and take what is rightfully mine in the end.

The sound of music begins to echo through the room and could be heard coming out onto the balcony. She smiles to herself as she leans against the railing still watching the room.

Necra: Ex, I want you to know that I love you no matter what I have to do in the middle of the ring. I know that you will not old back on me, let alone let us walk away with the shot at the tag titles. But you have to realize that I'm not going to back down that easy, let alone walk away empty handed. I've been a champion, and I plan on doing it again and if that means I have to beat you to get it then so be it. I'm not going to hold back and I know you won't either.

As Necra looks back into the ballroom she sees Candi talking with a man dressed in a very nice black suit. His hair was slicked back and a briefcase in hand. This was Seph's lawyer Sammael. Necra's eyes go wide as she makes her way to where Candi stood talking with Sam. She opens the doors and heads inside and approaches slowly over hearing the conversation.

Candi: And here is a five dollar coupon for Bath and Body Works.

Sam: I'm going to see a notary.

Candi: I'm a notary.

Sam: I'm going to think about it.

Candi: Ok...

Sam walks off as Necra grabs Candi by the arm.

Necra: Please tell me that you didn't make a deal with him!

Candi: No, he said he would think about it...

Necra stifles a laugh as she smiles.

Necra: Really?

Candi: Yeah. It's not the first time I've dealt with guys like that.

Necra: Wow... Can you hold on a sec?

Candi: Sure!

Necra moves across the floor laughing all the while. She walks over to where Seph plays the piano. She whispers something to him and he bursts out laughing as he looks over at Candi and then back at Necra. Necra just nods, before she walks away and soon stops in front of the massive Christmas tree that loomed over the ballroom. She turns and sees Johnny talking with Candi.

Necra: Johnny, a man that knows what it is to be a champion. I know you have been through a lot lately and you are looking for the next big win, but this one won't be it. I watched your matches against Joanne and you nearly killed each other just to prove who the true BAMF Champion was in the end. I have to say that I'm impressed but this match is going to be my big win, and give me and Dread the chance for gold once again. I don't hold anything against you, or Ex for that matter. This is a great way to start off the new year especially when we win and go on to face off against the fools that now hold the tag titles. Johnny I know you won't hold back either and will give us the fight that I want. I'm tired of the pushovers, the losers, and the wannabes. This is going to be one of the best matches of the night and I do feel honored to face off against you, no matter what the outcome is. But just know that I'm going to be an easy target and neither will Dread. I am the Goddess of the Dead, The Queen of Death, The Lady in Black, The Reaper of Souls, The Angel of Death, The Crawling Chaos, The Creeping Death, The Child of Heaven and Hell! Fear me for when you look upon me you will meet your end. See you soon and good luck... You're going to need it.

She smiles to herself as she feels a hand on her shoulder. She turns around and there stood Ex, looking nervous about something.

Necra: Hey.

Ex: Hey.

Necra: Is everything alright? I mean you've been avoiding me all day, and tonight...

Ex: Yeah about that... I've been thinking and...

Necra: Really? Is that why you've been avoiding me all this time? What could be so important that you would...

Ex pulls out a small present and hands it to Necra.

Ex: I got you a present.

Necra: That's sweet but you didn't have to.

Ex: I know. But go ahead and open it.

Necra opens the small present and there sat a box. She opens it and inside sat a a sparkling diamond ring. It was shaped like a skull with a silver band. Her eyes go wide as she looks up at him.

Ex: Will you marry me?

Necra nods as he places the ring on her hand.

Necra: YES!

Ex: I love you.

Necra: I love you too.

She kisses him deeply and he returns the passion deep within the kiss. It soon ends and Necra smiles softly.

Ex: You know I'm going to beat your ass though.

Necra smiles as he walks off leaving her alone.

Necra: That sounds like a fun night!

Ex: Not what I meant!

Necra: That's what I meant...

Necra walks over to where her parents were to show off the ring, as the scene fades to black.
