"The holidays make people turn into spoiled, hurtful, angry brats. Kids turn into whiny brats and all they do is cry and beg for everythin' that they see on TV. But most people do seem happy and will help others in times of need. That's why I love the holidays."
The scene opens on the beautiful Jersey Shore. The camera moves over the long stretch of boardwalk that was now empty for the winter season. The winter weather had come on quickly and the air had turned cold. The sound of bids still drifted on the air to anyone that would listen, as the smells from the local restaurants and fireplaces seemed to mingle together. The camera moves over the city and soon comes to a stop on one of the nicer areas of the city. The massive homes sit behind high walls, were all decorated with bright lights, and a few tall trees done in beautiful lights. The camera moves over the area and soon comes to a stop on the wrought iron fence where a letter C sat. There were guards by the main gate, were well armed and waited for any trouble that would try to come through the gates. The camera moves past the guard house and up the long driveway with the now dead willow trees that hung over the driveway and was now lined with a string of lights along the ground all the way to the house. The house itself was done in white lights, and seemed to give off a warm feeling of welcome. The camera moves to the interior of the house where we see the double staircase railing wrapped in pine boughs as the "World is yours" fountain glows brightly in the lights that hung over head. Sound is coming from the kitchen as well as the smell of something being made. The smell of garlic drifted on the air, as we see Joanne coming down the stairs and looking at a silver watch on her wrist. She makes her way across the foyer and heads toward the kitchen an sees Uh Oh working on a meal for them.
Uh Oh: Enjoy your sleep?
Joanne: I did. Have you seen the guys at all?
Uh Oh: They went out a few hours ago...
Joanne: I wonder where in the hell they are...
A Few Hours Earlier
The scene reopens on somewhere in New Jersey. It was on a long stretch of road that seemed to be out of the way, with no one around. It was just at the start of the pine barrens, where we see the road blocked. A white truck soon stops and the driver looks around seeing nothing around him. Soon a shot rings out from somewhere behind him out of the woods. He sees three figures with masks over their faces and all wearing black gloves.
Man 1: GET OUT OF THE TRUCK! GET OUT OF THE TRUCK!!
Driver: Alright! Alright! Just don't kill me!
Man 2: What did you find?
Man 3: It's the truck we've been waitin' for!
Driver: You know you can't just steal the mail it's a federal offense!
Man 1: I don't give a shit! Get out of the truck!
Man 2: Alright lets head to the warehouse!
Man 3: I'll take the truck.
Man 2: Right. Come on!
The third man looks at the driver before climbing up into the truck.
Man 3: You forget a million thin's a day... This is one of them! Now hit the bricks!
The three men soon take off with the truck and head to a massive warehouse. They soon remove the masks revealing that it was Reno, Rude and Scarpaci.
Reno: Holy shit what a haul!
Rude: Are they in there?
Reno: You better believe they are.
Scarpaci: Make sure you guys save me one too!
Rude: Right on. Come on lets get this stuff unloaded.
They start to unload the truck as the scene fades to black.
Voice Over: Did you ever get the feelin' like somethin' bad is goin' to happen when you're not there? I do... More often then not. I love my brother and the guys but sometimes I wonder... Why do I keep them around... I mean I can do everythin' that I need to now on my own, and there is nothin' that can really stop me. At least anythin' is made from mortal hands. Well almost anythin'... Ok so I do need them.
Present Time
The sound of video games are soon heard as the sound of a phone is heard ringing. Rude looks down at the number on the phone and sighs.
Rude: Fuck! It's the boss!
He soon answers it and pauses the game.
Rude: Hey boss!
Joanne: Where in the hell are you?
Rude: We're out... Christmas shopping! Do you want us to stop at Speedy's or something on the way back?
Joanne: No, Uh Oh made dinner...
Reno: Hey this one is filled with money!
Scarpaci: And this one is filled with stuff from Bath and Body!
Joanne: What in the hell are you doin'?
Rude: We're out picking you up a gift.
Joanne: That's sweet. Just get home soon.
Rude: Sure thing boss..
Meanwhile...
Joanne hangs up her phone and sighs leaning against the island in the middle of the kitchen.
Joanne: They're lyin'...
Uh Oh: How do you know?
Joanne: They always wait until the last minute to get me somethin'... I'm not sure what they're up to... But I have a feelin' somethin' is goin' to come back to me...
Uh Oh: You don't need to worry about that right now considering the match you have coming up... How are you feeling? I mean Johnny put you through hell and back and you're facing off against him again. Are you sure you want to do this?
Joanne: I know. I gave him as good as he gave me and I plan on doin' it again this time around.
Uh Oh: It's going to be worse this time isn't it?
Joanne smiles nodding all the while.
Joanne: Yeah it is. You're worried about me...
Uh Oh: Of course I am. I don't want to see you get hurt.
Joanne: A little late for that. It comes with the business, and it's somethin' that I am well versed in. This match will be just another match between Johnny and I. I plan on keepin' my title no matter what I have to do. If I beat him into nothin' more than a bloody pulp then I will. He and I both want the same thin' but only one of us can walk away with the title in hand in the end.
Uh Oh hugs her, and kisses her. Joanne kisses him back and she smiles revealing the small sharp canines in her mouth.
Joanne: I'm goin' to go out for a bite.
Uh Oh: What about dinner?
Joanne: I'll be back for that... I need... to grab somethin' for the evenin'. I'll be back soon. Call me when the guys get back.
Uh Oh: Are you going to be alright?
Joanne: I'll be fine. I love you.
Uh Oh: Love you too.
Joanne smiles grabbing a set of keys off of the counter and grabs her leather jacket off of the hook by the front door, and heads out toward the garage. One of the guards sees her heading toward the garage and opens the door for her. She nods and steps inside and walks to one of the cars that sat against the wall. It was a black BMW that seemed to be an older model, but still well taken care of and well maintained. She unlocks the door and slides into the drivers seat and turns the key as the car roars to life. The lights come on and soon she is heading down the long stretch of driveway and toward the front gates. They slowly open and she heads out into the night.
Joanne: One more time! One more time we step into the ring and stand toe to toe and put on one hell of a match for the fans just to see who really is the true NCW BAMF champion. This should be interestin' if nothin' else. You put me through hell and back the last time we squared off and I know this time won't be any different. I want you to show me just how good you really are like you did the last time. I got the win over you but barely. Can you really do it this time? Can you take away my title? Or will it be the same outcome once again?
She smirks as she soon starts down the long stretch of road heading into the city. She passes by houses that are lit from top to bottom. Her eyes catch the light as she passes by them and she couldn't help but smile enjoying the festive look.
Joanne: I love this time of the year. Most of the homes that are along the streets are lit with bright lights and most people are goin' around with smiles on their faces even with what has happened this year. I mean everythin' got tossed around but there's still good thin's to see and enjoy at this time of year. That's why it makes me kind of bad about what I am goin' to do to you. I mean I don't want you to end up in the hospital at Christmas. Especially with your new wife and all. I'll heal quickly after a little bit somethin' that I can get just about anywhere. But you... You're mortal and you'll take time to heal. And it won't be in time for Christmas. But I can't hold back, let alone stop until I have what I want in the end. Don't worry I'll be ready for anythin' that you can throw at me just like last time.
She moves along the quiet city streets but sees a handful of people out and enjoying the coolness of the night. She knew they were club kids that liked the night, and were looking for someone like herself. She soon stops and sees the club that seemed to be tucked in between two older buildings. The door was hidden away from those that didn't know where to look. She gets out of the car and leans against the car just watching them never letting them notice her.
Joanne: Johnny I don't think there is really anythin' else that I can say to you. I mean if I keep tellin' you I'm goin' to kick your ass over and over again it gets borin'. I plan on doin' what I need to do and that's all I can do really. I know that you will give me a fight and that's what I want. No matter what happens in the end it will be an honor to have faced you twice over. But only one of us can win this and be known as the BAMF Champion. And we all know that it's goin' to be me in the end. We are the Mafioso and we get paid to kick your ass... See you soon and good luck, you're going to need it this time.
She fixes her hair and looks both ways before she crosses the street. Her high heeled shoes click on the cement sidewalk as she moves along behind the group of people toward the door. She flashes a smile at the bouncer and he lets her inside without a second glance as the scene fades to black.
