Act 1: Failure
The scene opens on the beautiful New York countryside. The evening had come on quickly, and the moon had risen high over the countryside and the stars glistened against the black sky. The sound of crickets and frogs are heard echoing through the night. The camera moves over the long stretch of road and heads toward the small town that laid at the end. The camera moves over the strange looking town and toward the massive home that sat on the hill that over looked the town. The half circle driveway was filled with cars, and the house was lit from top to bottom. The camera moves to the interior of the massive home where we see the strange fountain with the red flowing water. The sound of muffled voices are soon heard coming from somewhere in the house. The camera moves down the long hallway and enters what appears to be a ballroom. The high ceiling was arched, the wooden floor was polished, and the mirror like windows were covered with heavy drapes and the light was dim but familiar faces could be seen sitting in front of a small stage. In the front row we see Joanne sitting with Uh Oh, Reno, and Rude all dressed in dark suits. Necra, Ex, Sothren, and Cleo sit behind them waiting for something to happen. They all stand as Emily and Sephiroth walk into the room. She is dressed in a long black gown, what appears to be a veil of black lace material that hung down her back. Seph guides Emily to her seat and walks onto the makeshift stage.
Seph: Thank you for joining us here tonight. We are here to celebrate the achievements that the Darkside have made. We have gained two championships and we will hold onto them as long as we can. Now I would to bring someone up here that has done what no other has done. They managed to impress me, and taken out everyone around them. They put their body on the line, and walked away with the crowd on their side.
Emily goes to get up with a soft smile on her face
Seph: Joanne come up here please!
Joanne gets to her feet, with the BAMF Title hanging off of her shoulder. She smiles widely as she stands beside Seph and looks out over the small crowd that was in front of them.
Voice Over: It should have been me! I should be the one up there! It was going to be MY night! OUR night!
Joanne: Thank you for the honor. This is just the beginnin' for all of us!
Voice Over: It should have been MY beginning! I was cheated! I had the match won!
Seph kisses Joanne on the cheek before she goes and sits back down. Emily looks down at the floor, as Seph takes her hand in his.
Seph: Are you alright dearest?
Emily looks up at him and smiles softly feeling the coldness of his hand.
Emily: Of course. I'm just a little disappointed with how everything went down the other night that's all.
Seph: Darling you will have your chance. Come and have a drink with me my dearest. We still have guests and...
Emily gets to her feet, and smiles softly before looking down at the floor once again.
Emily: I'm a bit tired. I think I'm going to head upstairs.
Seph: Are you sure you're alright?
Emily nods.
Emily: Yes... I'm just not in the mood to celebrate. I'm sorry. I might come down later on.
Seph: Alright...
Emily walks out of the room as her high heeled shoe clicked along the ball room floor. She heads down the long hallway, and toward the stairs. She removes the long veil as she walks up the stairs, and toward her room passing by the paintings that hung on either side of her as she passes by. She soon opens the door to her room and steps inside. She kicks off the shoes before heading to a spot where there sat three mirrors. Emily steps onto the small platform as three images appear. One was dressed in a purple and black dress with her black raven hair piled up, and light makeup upon her porcelain face. The other was another dark haired beauty, in a short red dress, with it seeming to fit in all of the right places. In the middle mirror stood Emily with the veil still in hand. She sighs as she looks at the other two reflections.
Emily: That did not go the way I wanted it to!
Rayne: I bet it didn't! Did you see how he was fawning over Joanne?
Tabitha: Don't listen to her dear. She's just trying to get under your skin.
Rayne: Am I? Or did you see how he praised her, how thrilled he was to have HER at his side? That should have been you Emily.
Her form seems to move toward Emily placing her hands on Emily's shoulders. Emily turns around not seeing Rayne behind her. But when she looks in the mirror Rayne is standing there.
Emily: I had that match won! Merxy cheated!
Tabitha: She had help dear. Don't tell me you wouldn't have done the same if you could have...
Emily looks down at the floor and folds her arms in front of her.
Rayne: You should have beaten the holy hell out of her when she popped back up! You had it in your hands. YOU WERE the CHAMPION! And now look where you are...
Emily: It IS mine! And I will do whatever I have to do to win this match against Rene.
Tabitha: And from what I seen she is having some of her own issues.
Rayne laughs as she leans against the frame of the mirror.
Rayne: She looks like she is trying to figure out who or what she is. We can use that against her.
Tabitha: You know, she's not wrong. Rene is a threat, but she isn't as strong as you thanks to us.
Emily stands in front of the mirror not speaking but raises her eyes and we see her eyes seem to have shifted to a violet color. She smiles as she stares at herself in the mirror.
Emily: Rene there isn't really anything I want to say to you right now. I mean what can I say to you? I don't have anything against you but don't get wrong I will do everything that I can to get to that spot for the simple fact that the Siren's Title should have been mine to begin with. I don't fault Merxy for what happened but you and the others that stood in my way to get my hands on the title. I was the last one standing, but she did what she needed to do. I can rant and rant and rant but it changes nothing. This match will.
Emily turns from the mirrors and walks to the closet and starts to pull out a simple outfit and tosses it on the bed.
Emily: Rene I know that you will come at me with everything that you have, and try to stop me. But I am afraid that I cannot let that happen. I love matches like this for the simple fact that anything goes and no one can stop us no matter what we do. Weapons, tables, ladders, chairs, baseball bats... Anything we can get our hands on is all worth the beating that I will put you through. I know you won't hold back let alone stop until you get what you want, but that's not going to happen... I CAN'T let that happen. So come at me with everything that you have and try to stop me, because we both know it will never be enough to stop the Wicked Witch!
She smiles as she grabs the clothes off of the bed and walks behind a changing curtain and tosses off the dress before changing into something a little more comfortable. She soon steps out wearing a tight fitting black shirt with what appears to be sparkles woven through it. The long black pants clung to her legs in all of the right places. Her long black hair draped down her back and fanned out at the bottom as she moved back toward the mirrors.
Tabitha: And where are you going?
Emily: To relax. I need sometime to think that's all. This match isn't going to be easy and I need... I need to win this. I need to make him proud of me like he was with Joanne.
Rayne: That's right! You go and get what is rightfully ours!
Emily grabs a leather jacket off of the hook by the bedroom door and slips on a pair of shoes before heading out of the room. She walks down the long hallway, and heads toward the stairs. She could hear the voices still coming from the ballroom. She goes to walk back toward the ballroom but turns around, and heads for the front door. Emily grabs a set of keys and heads down the stairs toward the BMW that sat in front of the house. It comes to life and soon she heads off down the long stretch of road, as the scene fades to black.
