DB: Welcome everyone, this is the last 4 matches of round one and it is going to be exciting!
Dario looks at Johnny
Dario: Hey there Johnny. did you miss me?
he smirks but johnny does not engage instead
Johnny Grimes: No Comment. your right though DB these last 4 matches are going to be exciting. We have Benjamin maddox as he takes on newcomer Jake Ferrari. Chad Chaos takes on Brian Kennedy, the man between us Dario Arturo Cortez takes on his team mate Lachlain Hennessey, and of course Johnny Reb takes on Shiv.
DB: I hear we are getting word….

Champions Run Round 1
“The Gothic Bad Ass” Chad Chaos

A voice fills the warehouse that is acting as the makeshift arena. The small crowd gathering looks around.
Voice: Chad Chaos was unable to take time away from his tour. He has withdrawn from the tournament and so Brian Kennedy will receive a bye into the second round!
DB: What news!
Dario: Whose voice was that?
Johnny Grimes: More than likeoly it was Chad Chaos' tour manager or someone who would have first hand knowledge. So this means that while everyone else is fighting Brian gets to walk into round 2? What a lucky guy.
Dario: Yes, he is lucky indeed. though to play as you say devils advocate here, was it really someone from chaos' band or perhaps someone from thug revolution got to chaos, took him out and chaos is covering it up with this?
DB: I think our fans understand your point there Dario. are you sure. you have no evidence. do you say this on behalf of apocalypse or are you still sore spot because Kennedy helped in eliminating you at march madness.?
Dario looks at DB
Dario: I overestimated Denise's injuries and it make me cocky. i also believed that Brian was content with me putting Denise away to give himself time to rest. Guess not. I have learned from those mistakes and i have moved on. but you haven't. you keep bringing up my past here. I may reffear to the past, in the future. but i do not live there. i live in the here and now.
DB: Lets look how round 2 is shaping up in the first block.
Johnny Grimes: Phoenix Halliwell vs. a bye. Primus Halliwell and Forsaken IV eliminated each other so Phoenix was moved into round 3.
DB: The Enforcer also got a bye as Hex Girl and Road Dawg also eliminated each other.
Johnny Grimes: Venus Mercury will face Avery McCullen next edition of Champions Run. Since Maeve Russo and Daniel Injustice eliminated each other Thayne Bell gets a bye to round 3.
Dario: and here i was starting to like you DB.
DB: Well be that as it may, This tournament is getting more and more interesting by the match.
Johnny Grimes: speaking of which lets go to our next match!

Chastity Muse: The next match is scheduled for one fall and it is a round 1 Champions Run tournament match! First from Brooklyn, New York weighing 244 lbs… Benjamin Maddox!!!
Die for You by Starset blasts over the PA systems As Benjamin Maddox walks out on stage and looks at the fans and then looks up at the sky and Shakes it off as many emotions run through his body he walks down the ramp receiving a mixed reaction. He then does a running front flip into the ring and then runs over to the nearest turnbuckle and panders to the crowd before awaiting the start of the matchup in his corner
Chastity Muse: His opponent from Manchester, England weighing 222 lbs… “Grade A” Jake Ferrari!!!
The lights begin a tremor as "Had Enough" by Breaking Benjamin stirs. A sleek sports bike is steered on-stage, Jake Ferrari straddling the back, he continues down the stage ramp speeding down on a single wheel. He drifts around the ring coming to a stop at ringside, with placement of the kickstand he affords to descend from the motorcycle and enter the ring. Sliding under the bottom rope, he surfaces to his feet, climbing the nearest turnbuckle with his clenched fists in the air.
DING DING
Both men get face to face and trash talk each other. Benjamin with a slap. Ferrari answers back with a slap. Benjamin with a slap to Ferrari’s chest. Ferrari answers back. Maddox with a knife edge chop as the crowd woos. Ferrari with a knife edge chop and the crowd woos.
DB: these two are testing each other out.
Benjamin winds up for a big right hand but Ferrari ducks and grabs Maddox and hits an atomic drop. He then grabs Maddox’s arm and hits an arm wrench clothesline.
Johnny Grimes: Ferrari out to prove himself here.
Dario: Jake will have to do something in order to keep up or this match will be a short one that is for sure.
Ferrari hits the ropes as Maddox stands and catches him with a flying forearm smash! Ferrari grabs Maddox but Maddox with a boot to the gut and a snap suplex.
DB: Don’t count out anyone in the Maddox family.
Maddox grabs Ferrari and hits a German suplex. He then goes to the top rope as Ferrari stands and hits a missile dropkick. He then grabs Ferrari and hits a double arm DDT.
Johnny Grimes: Maddox going right to work on Ferrari. are you looking forward to perhaps facing him in the next round should you get past your own teammate?
Dario: I would rather face Johnny Reb. but we will see what happens. as you said though, i have to win my match in order to do so.
Maddox goes onto the apron and waits for Ferrari to stand and hits a springboard dropkick sending Ferrari rolling out to the floor! Maddox stands and waits for Ferrari to stand.
DB: maddox in firm control here.
Dario: That he is. he is showing the ncw faithful just how he has earned his hardware over the years.
Maddox hits the ropes as Ferrari stands and nails Ferrari with a suicide dive! Maddox grabs Ferrari and whips him into the barricade.
Johnny Grimes; Things are getting really dangerous now.
Dario: Brian wants to send a message to whoever he faces next. there is little doubt about that. i believe brian has this match firmly in control.
Maddox charges but Ferrari ducks and back body drops Maddox over the guardrail! Ferrari then climbs over the guardrail.
Referee: …...1……..2…...3…..
DB: They better be mindful of the referee’s count.
Ferrari grabs Maddox onto his shoulders and hits a rolling fireman’s carry slam onto some chairs!
Referee: ………..4…………….5………………..6
Johnny Grimes; Not a good landing for Maddox.
Ferrari goes for The Ride of your Life on Maddox but Maddox dodges out of the way and they start exchanging punches as they fight towards the stairs and start fighting up the stairs.
Referee: ……………..7……………..8………………...9
Maddox kicks Ferrari and then charges and they collide and both men tumble down the stairs in a heap looking rather hurt and tangled together.
Refere: ………………………………………………………..10!!
DING DING DING
Chastity Muse: The referee counted both men out! This match is a draw!
DB: Another draw!
Dario looks at the both of them and shrugs
Johnny Grimes: Guess in the end maddox didn't have this match firmly in control.
Dario: It is not a loss. it is a draw. and are you trying to provoke me Johnny? did you not learn anything last time. You are lucky that i would get arrested if i used you as a warm up but you are not worth it.
DB: Come on guys. lets not get derailed here.
Johnny Grimes: This tournament is getting interesting fast.
DB: Indeed! Lets look at the next block for round 2!
Johnny Grimes: Michael Maddox gets a bye to round 3 since CJ Von Erich and Cletus the Bum eliminated each other.
Dario: talk about lucky.
DB: Lana Enigma and Delilah the Bumtress also eliminated each other.
Dario: that just makes more room for better competition.
Johnny Grimes: Mi Brook and Forsaken VI also eliminated each other.
Dario: That is unfortunate. but for me it is one less team mate that i would have to face.
Johnny Grimes: That's assuming that you win your match.
Dario: I am confident that i will.
DB: Things are coming to a head quickly.
Dario: That they are.

Chastity Muse; The next match is scheduled for one fall and it is a round 1 Champions Run Match! First coming down the aisle representing Apocalypse… from San Diego, California weighing 224 lbs… Dario Arturo Cortez!!!!
The Fighter by Gym Class Hero hits. He walks with a purpose straight to the ring in his ring attire and awaits his opponent.
Lachlan watches as Dario calmly walks out onto the ramp. He is just about to make his entrance when a member of the crew runs up to him with a phone in his hand. He takes the phone.
Lachlan: "Hello?"
Mystery Man: "Lachlan, you know Anna's little girl? Someone should really have been taking better care of her. I mean the nanny is 67 years old. I was able to take her easily."
Lachlan: "Who is this where are you?"
The man doesn't answer, instead hanging up the phone. Lachlan crushed the phone in his hand and takes off towards the parking lot.
Chastity Muse: It looks like Lachlain Hennessey has left the building and has forfeited the match. The winner… Dario Arturo Cortez!!!!
DB: What an easy win for Dario he will be fresh when he heads into round 2
Johnny Grimes: Yes he is already dangerous but going in without a match makes him even more so.
DB: In a surprise upset Curtis Mitchell defeated Necra Octavien Kane but Elena and Charlie Feigel eliminated each other so Curtis Mitchell will be heading into round 3.
Johnny Grimes; Round 2 will see “The Nefarious Queen” Lexi Havoc take on Lilith “Epitaph” Payne. That will be one to watch!
DB: I can’t wait to see this next match.

Chastity Muse: The next match is scheduled for one fall and is your main event! This is a first round Champions Run match! First coming down the aisle from Olympia, Washington weighing 240 lbs… SHIV!!!
The lights go dark throughout the arena as "Reptile" by Nine Inch Nails begins. Everything stays dark until the music picks up. A circle of light appears at the top of the ramp as Shiv is seen in it. Strobe lights and lasers zig zag as he makes his way down to the ring. Shiv gains enough speed as he slides into the ring through the bottom rope...
Chastity Muse: His opponent from Atlanta, Georgia weighing 252 lbs… “The Southern Controversy” Johnny Reb!!!
The opening of "That's How I Like It"" plays and as it hits it's hard bridge Johnny Reb steps out from behind the flag waving the Confederate Flag proudly before marching toward the ring. Johnny waves the flag all the way down to ringside. As he reaches ringside Johnny hands the Flag to a stage hand saluting it once before running to the ring and sliding in. He rises and raises a fist to the audience and saluting the rebel flag one more time with an exaggerated and enthusiastic rebel yell.
as johnny yells out his enthusiastic rebel hell the cameras catch Dario sitting back at the announcers table.
DING DING
Both men start exchanging punches. Shiv with a knee to the gut and a forearm across the back and a forearm and a knife edge chop.
DB: So your back Dario. just in time..eww Shiv lighting up Johnny Reb there.
Dario: Yes, just in time.
Johnny Reb answers back with lefts and rights. Shiv charges and Reb catches him with an arm drag and then a snap mare and a knee into Shiv’s back.
Johnny Grimes: This is just starting. Who are you hoping wins.?
Reb locks Shiv into a sleeper hold. Shiv thumbs Reb in the eyes and then puts Reb in a hammerlock.
Dario: Well i thought you would have known that already. after all last time i simply gave him a little love tap. so I am going for Johnny Reb. i hope that i get the chance to face him.
DB: These two are going back and forth. and why is that exactly, do you mind explaining that to us Dario or for those fans who aren't in the know.
Shiv with punches to Reb’s ribs and kidneys. He scoop slams Reb and nails a knee drop. He then stomps on Reb.
Johnny Grimes: Shiv is showing what he can do.
Dario: Well even though he was wrongfully stripped of his belt, i still view him as the bamf champion. and that is the belt that i seek.
Johnny Grimes: I thought you and apoclaypse did that at march madness
Dario: That was not my idea. i showed him respect by allowing him to walk to the back after his match and after i told him of my intentions. once i have locked my sights on to a target, i will do what it takes to take that target out.
He then hits the ropes. But Reb counters with a Samoan drop and then some mounted punches.
Dario: Come on Johnny.
There seems to be some disturbance in the crowd.
DB: What is going on?
Dario looks left then ring and behind him as it is easier for him since he is sitting on the outside.
A skinny man with long dark hair climbs over the guardrail and hops onto the apron and nails Shiv and Reb with a double springboard clothesline.
Johnny Grimes: What the?!?
DING DING DING
Dario: What? NOOO.
Dario then gets up from his chair and starts to walk toward the skinny man as he starts dropkicking both men and then security charges the ring and the guy drops down and rolls out of the ring.
Dario then jumps the guardrail in order to give chase to the man.
DB: Was has gotten into Dario. that's not like him.
Johnny Grimes: OH but it is. he was cheering for him the whole match. he said he wanted to face him or weren't you listening.
Chastity Muse: Both men have been disqualified this match is a draw!
DB: What does this mean?
Johnny Grimes: I’m not sure but stay tuned. But our camera crew may be able to keep up now that we know that Dario is chasing this man down.
The camera crew manages to keep up with Dario as we see him grab the man's long hair and turn him around. the camera can't catch his face due to his long hair getting in the way, nor can dario make out who he is. the man then kicks Dario in the nuts. However Dario doesn't feel it as he wears his cup. He grabs the man pulling him near, not even bothering to see who he may be, he hits him with his shot of arrogance move and then stomps on him. and like a bull in a china cabinet, he doesn't stop himself he then picks him up again and goes to deliver his adios finisher, but the skinny man wiggles his legs and turns his shoulders and just manages to escape Dario's adios finisher. He goes to once again give chase but the skinny man darts and dodges dario making sure he manages to get himself into tight corners that dario cannot squeeze into. Dario then stops and starts to calm down as he knows that giving additional chase will do him no good. however we hear him say YOU HAD BETTER RUN.
We then see him grumble and pace back and forth in a slightly depressed state. He then walks off to Apocalypse's locker room. The camera fades to black.
