Act 1: Strange Bedfellows
"I always thought I would have a partner for the tag titles that I would have picked... But this is strange... I guess I'll have to live with it now won't I?"
The scene opens on the all to familiar Georgia countryside. The fresh green grass gently swayed in the wind as the sound of crickets filled the night. The stars twinkled over head, and the moon cast it's strange pinkish glow to the world below. The smell of the magnolia's drifted on the air even in the middle of the night, and mixed with the fading embers of a fire that had been lit in the fire pit that sat in the vast backyard that belonged to the ranch house that belong to Johnny Reb. The ranch was in darkness and everything was now quiet and still for the first time in the long day. The camera moves to the interior of the house where we see Necra's dad Sothren sound asleep on the couch, and the sound of snoring broke the quiet of the night coming from one of the rooms further in the back of the house. As the camera moves through the house we see Necra and Ex lying in a queen size bed. She is staring up at the ceiling as Ex snores loudly. She tries to poke him in the ribs but he doesn't stop and she just sighs. She turns over and closes her eyes once again only be awakened by the sound of Ex snoring once again. She sits up, and looks over at him and sighs. She wraps a thin blanket around her soft feminine yet built form and gets out of the bed. The General, the old hound dog laying at the end of the bed notices her walk out of the room, and stretches getting up and follows out behind her. She walks past her father and heads out the front door. The cool air greets her as if an old friend, and she breathes deeply as she sits on the porch swing. The old hound dog pushes the screen door open with his nose and steps out before leaping up onto the swing with Necra. She smiles softly and pets him behind the ears before he rests his head on her lap.
Necra: Decided to keep me company huh?
The dog wags his tail before starting to drift back off to sleep.
Necra: Thayne you and I have the honor of being paired in one of the strangest teams that I have even seen in my life. I always figured if I went after the tag titles again it would be with someone from the Fallen, not someone that is well... A loner. I don't mind this pairing let alone understand it, but this is what happens when you finish in the last few in Genocide. I've noticed your talent long before others have and I have to admit that I am impressed with what you can do in the middle of the ring. You have stood against the likes of the former Pinnacle Champion Tyler Cross and won but then lost to the likes of Baazlebul which I can only imagine is not one of your finer points in your career. But I have a feeling the two of us can do this and take those titles away from Fathi and Brian. They've had them long enough and it's time that someone new had them don't you think?
Necra smiles as she watches a shooting star moves across the sky before fading into the endless midnight black sky.
Necra: Fathi I'm still not sure if you have a thing for me or what. I mean in one of your other videos you just seemed to have the biggest hard one about me. I'm sure you are focused enough on me you don't see the other danger that you are going to face before hand. You're not going to be fresh for this match and we all know that I won't be either but still I have the better chance of winning this one then you do at the moment. Unless by some strange circumstance that it all changes. But fate is a funny thing really. It can go your way, or the tables can turn just as quickly. As for Brian you have a night of fun of your own don't you? Not only are in this match, but two more earlier on. Will you be ready to even stand against us in this? You have a title match against a man that you have yet to beat on your own, and I've seen what's waiting on you in that one... It's not going to be pretty. But in our match if blood can be spilled it will be and I'm going to make sure that by the end of the night you are not going to have anything left. The tag titles are coming to Thayne and myself and whatever happens in your other matches... Well that's not up to me. That's up to whatever fate decides.
She leans back on the swing as the sound of what could be the sound of someone humming "Dixie" coming from somewhere along the road. She looks out toward the road, as a glowing figure moves along on a horse. The figure doesn't notice her but keeps going before fading into nothingness once again. Necra looks over at the General and sighs.
Necra: Lets not tell Johnny that the stretch of road is haunted.
The General looks up at her and gives a soft bark before lowering his head again and drifting off to sleep.
Necra: Gentlemen I don't think there is really anything else that I can say to you tonight. I mean the pay per view is just in a few days and we all know what is to come. Matches, and more matches. We will play to an empty arena, where only those at home will be able to hear the cries of pain and torment that is going to come your way. This should be fun if nothing else. I just hope you know what you are getting into. I am the Goddess of the Dead, The Queen of Death, The Lady in Black, The Reaper of Souls, The Angel of Death, the Child of Heaven and Hell! Fear me; for when you look upon me you will see your end. See you soon and good luck, you're going to need it.
Necra's eyes flash red before shifting back to their normal color. She stares off into the stars over head petting the sleeping dog beside her as the scene fades to black.
