Act 1: An Evening Chat

The scene opens on the backstage area of the Infinite Energy Arena. The parking lot was empty except for the large trucks that now sat in the parking lot. The lights from the arena blazed brightly into the night, as the camera moves over the spot where the NCW Pit would have been located was now quiet and empty. Giving it a strange feeling of emptiness but yet people were within. The camera moves to the interior of the arena where we see the empty seats that lined the arena, and the ring that had been set up and ready for the evening. The camera's had been set up just on the other side of the barriers, waiting for the night to start. The camera moves to the backstage area where we see the stage hands move along the hallways trying to finish up the last minute things before the show would be ready to start. We see a locker room door open and we hear voices coming from within. Venus sits with Maria enjoying a quiet chat.

Venus: Only a handful of us will ever find the one that we are meant to be with.

Maria: When I'm with Adam I feel that way.

Venus: I know. I can see it when you are with him. I know you didn't come here to just chat with me Maria. You still have a job to do don't you?

Maria sighs and smiles nodding.

Maria: Yes I do. Plus I want to go and wish Adam good luck before his match.

Venus: Then I won't take a lot of your time.

Maria: Tonight is a very big night for you and Phoenix isn't it?

Venus: That it is. Phoenix is looking to have a great match with Leon Dread even if he does lose the title.

Maria: How do you feel about his retirement?

Venus: I'm in full support of it. We've talked about it a lot and he's ready to walk away from the NCW in good standing.

Maria: And what about you? Are you ready to retire? I mean considering you and Phoenix are alumni.

Venus looks down at the floor and then back up at Maria.

Venus: When my time comes I will take my leave of the hallowed halls of the NCW.

Maria: What about your match here tonight against Road Dawg?

Venus: He has yet to even really say anything, but I've seen him in a couple of matches and I have to admit that he is good. I know that he will do everything that he can to stop me but I'm going to win this match.

Maria: It seems to me that you are underestimating him.

Venus: I'm not underestimating him. But I've been getting ready for this match for a while since the news of the pay per view was put out. I don't know if he has even acknowledged that he is in a match yet.

Maria: That's true. Is there anything that you want to say to your opponent before your match?

Venus once again looks down at the floor before smiling.

Venus: Road Dawg I don't know what to really think about you. No one has heard from you, or seen you for a long while. Are you really even ready for this match at all? I know I am. I just hope you know what you are getting into when you step into the middle of the ring with me. Bring everything that you have into this match and try to withstand what I can do. I will wish you good luck if nothing else.

Maria: Thank you for your time Venus, and good luck.

Venus smiles as she gets to her feet. She walks to the door and opens it for Maria. Maria walks out and leave Venus alone once again. She sits down in the middle of the floor and sits cross legged and closes her eyes. When she opens them they are nothing more than black pools.

Venus: Every action sends ripples across the galaxy. Every idea must touch another mind to live. Each emotion must mark another's spirit. We are all connected. Every living being united in a single glorious existence. Open yourself to the universe. Embrace eternity!”

With that the room goes black as the scene fades to black.
