Act 1: Old Flame vs New Flame

"I don't know how to really handle this... I mean I'm Seph's old flame, and I'm takin' on his new flame... If I lose I'll look weak and if she loses... I don't know what will happen."

Just After Assault 03/28/20

The scene opens on the beautiful city of Atlanta. The night had come on fast, and the stars had been dulled out by the lights of the city. The sweet smell from the magnolia's drifted on the night air, mixing with the smell of the local restaurants and a few trucks that still moved along the streets and interstates seemed to mix together. The camera moves over the quiet city and soon comes to a stop on the State Farm Arena where we see the arena's parking lot was now empty, and the big trucks with NCW on the side sat. The sound of voices are heard coming from inside, and soon we see stage hands heading this way and that making sure everything is ready to go for the next city. The camera moves to the interior where we see a few more stage hands moving through the hallways and a few superstars that were still in the arena. We move down a long hallway and soon we see Emily walking along the hallway  and rounds the corner running into Joanne. The two of them smile at each other, as Emily stops in her tracks.

Emily: I didn't expect to see you here tonight.

Joanne: I came to see Allura. Congrats on your win over Apocalypse tonight.

Emily: Thank you. It was a team effort after all.

Joanne: I heard that you and I are facin' off against each other in Champions Run. I have to say that this is goin' to be interestin' if nothin' else.

Emily smiles a strange smile and looks at Joanne with her eyes seeming to shift to red before going back to their normal color.

Emily: It should be. I mean its new flame verses old flame.

Joanne: I never looked at it that way.

Emily: I'm sure that it won't matter who wins this match anyway. But I will do whatever it takes to win this match.

Joanne: Over my dead body...

Emily: That can be arranged.

Emily smiles as she walks off leaving Joanne once again. Joanne shivers slightly as she turns and watches Emily walk off.

Joanne: What the hell was that? I mean there is somethin' off about her and I still can't figure out what it is. But I need to beat her. I want at least a shot at a title and I will do whatever I need to. Emily might of held two titles but what does that matter? I'm goin' to show the locker room and the rest of the world that it's my time to shine and pull off the win of a life time.

She smiles as she walks along the empty hallway.

Joanne: I know that Emily will try everythin' and will train to win this match. And with Seph helpin' her... I'll have to be ready for anythin' that she can throw at me. And I will be. We are the Mafioso and we get paid to kick your ass.

Joanne turns and looks over her shoulder and smiles as she rounds the corner and soon reaches the back door, and walks out into the night as the scene fades to black.
