Scene One: An endeavor rejected.
The video package rolls and the first thing we see is a hospital. It is the same hospital where Katsa had been under care. A moment later there is a scratching scraping noise being made. After a minute of this the camera picks up what is causing the sound. Vargas, Forsaken III, and Forsaken VII are walking down the rather sterile hallway. As the focus changes and we have a wider view of the entire hallway we can see what is creating the scraping sound. Forsaken VII is dragging a clawed glove much akin to the glove of Freddy Kruger along the floor. She is grinning as she looks up to Vargas.
Forsaken VII: Sire, what are we doing here? I mean we already have the girl. Why would we come back here.
Vargas grins.
Vargas: Quiet child, we are here for another. We are here to spread our reach even further.
They eventually reach a door which reads Dr. Miyamoto Honda Morfrynn aka Miho. Vargas waves to the door and Forsaken III breaks it down. The three of them walk into the office and once they are deep enough into the office they see the Dr. Vargas steps forth and takes a seat at the desk.
Vargas: Dr. I know who you are, and I'm sure that you know who we are. We are not here intending to fight. We wish to reunite you with your family. Apocalypse is misunderstood. We aren't the bad guys, we're just willing to do bad things to get the outcome we deserve. We do not want to keep a family separate. Join us and you will again have your family back.
Dr. Morfrynn: I am not interested in any offers from the likes of you.
Vargas: Well if that's the case, then I guess that we should move this conversation to a more private place.
Suddenly Forsaken III explodes forward and grabs the Dr. he slams his hand down onto the desk, and then laughs.
Vargas: Dear Dr. are you sure that you don't want to talk with us?
The Dr. shakes his head as he does Vargas motions for Forsaken III to pick him up, the man does as he is instructed.
Vargas: I guess that it is time to leave.
With that Vargas and the two Forsaken leave the hospital as quickly, and unseen as when they arrived. Forsaken III carrying the Dr. over his shoulder. They walk to a sewer cover, and open it. Forsaken III sets the Dr. down then just drops down the hole, a moment later Vargas shoves the Dr. into the hole. He and Forsaken VII each take their turn following the big man. This is the last we ses of Apocalypse for now.
Scene Two: Sending a Message.
Vargas and the Forsaken are seen walking through the arena parking lot. There is quite a crowd gathered, even though it is only 2 in the afternoon. Rabid curr, well everyone knows the definition of rabid, but does anyone really know the definition of a curr? It means two things. It means to make mewling murmuring sound, or something you don't care about. It once meant friend. So really Fathi, to call yourself a rabid curr is nothing more than to call yourself a rabid unwanted kitten.
The crowd gathered actually start chanting kitten, kitten, kitten.
Maybe that is why you make a cute reference to some child's comic book. You call yourself Cable from Marvel? Well there are two problems with that. The first problem with that is that this isn't a comic book. The second problem with that is you call yourself Cable, yet you're about as much of a problem for us as cable television. You say you've been beating us? Really? That's cute. You didn't beat us, you tucked your tail between your legs and made an announcement calling for a bounty to be put on our heads. How'd that work out for you? Given that we're all still standing I'd say you rather wasted you time, and your money because we are still here. Fathi has it EVER occurred to you that the reason we didn't stop you from winning the tournament was because we were protecting Anna? I mean if Denise were to win, then she would have pointed her targets right at Anna, Enigma, it is possible that she would choose Anna in an effort to weaken our brethren, but you? If you were to win you wouldn't be a threat. You COULDN'T be a threat to the Siren's Championship. Your "code" didn't help you in your match with Hex girl, it won't help you in this match against us, and it certainly won't help you anytime soon. You set the standard? If that's the case, then I pity the N.C.W. fans because they deserve to see a standard where their Champions are RELEVANT. You're one half of the Tag Team Champions? Even as a member of the Tag Team Champions you're a weak link, I don't know what Brian sees in you as a partner. A must have Champion? You're about as must have as a yeast infection.
As they walk up to the arena doors they are joined by the rest of Apocalypse. Lachlan is driving a forklift which has an old busted refrigerator on it. The marks of Apocalypse are all over the refrigerator. The unit is heavily chained, and there are multiple padlocks. They walk through the bowels of the arena until they find the place they were looking for. Lachlan drives the forklift right up to the door and then he lowers the unit to the floor. Before the group melts back into the shadows Forsaken III slices into his hand he takes the blood and writes on the door "Your blood money only buys innocent blood. Beware in the future." Moments later they are again gone.
Scene Three: A Bargain Struck?
Vargas is lurking with Forsaken VII in the shadows outside of Hex Girls locker room. They stand there and await her arrival.
Vargas: Hex Girl, you sadly are quickly becoming a casualty of a war that you weren't meant to be in. We actually regret that, and this is meant to show our true intentions for you.
Vargas hangs a briefcase on the door. Then he and Forsaken VII just wait for Hex to show up. Hex Girl walks up to the locker room. There is a voice recorder on top of it with a note that says press play.
She picks it up and presses play. The recording says open the case. Hex opens it. Inside is money, $250,000 to be exact. The recording comes alive again after about a thirty second pause. "You may have been attacked by Apocalypse, however you were never the primary target. Quite the contrary actually. There is a pouch on the lid of this case reach inside."
Hex Girl reaches into the pouch and pulls out a cloth bag.
"The money is my way of compensating you for the loss of money due to not winning those matches you were screwed in. If you've reached into the pouch you've found a large cloth bag. If you've opened it rest assured that what you see there is our true intention. We were never targetting you, we were scouting you."
When Hex opens the cloth bag inside of it is two things. The first is a contract signed by Calypso duly noted by a notary public stating that even if you do not join us you can call on us for aid one time during your career. The other item is a t-shirt that says Hex Girl Queen of the Fosaken, and the Mistress of the realm of the forgotten. Hex Girl looks out into the shadows.
Hex Girl: I know you're out there somewhere. I'll let you know.
Vargas grins, as both he and Forsaken VII fade into the shadows yet again, but the question is will it be the final time tonight?

A Legacy of Pain *A grainy home movie/camcorder tape plays. A pair of women tear at each other in a brutal and bloody fashion. One of the women in the is a thickly built asian woman in tights and the other is an athletically built caucasian woman in a school uniform. The camera pans from the action to the crowd. At ringside a man stands watching in military fatigues, in front of him a small red haired girl going crazy as she watches the match. The match ends the caucasian woman is victorious. Rapid Japanese can be heard over the loudspeaker, "Winner Blood Angel Kate Cameron." The Blood Angel rolls out of the ring practically staggering covered head to toe in blood and glass. She reaches out and ruffles the mop of red hair belonging to the little girl at ringside. Her fingers trail away as she continues to move away from the ring and her fallen foe. those bloody fingers leaving a trail across the excited child's face.*Voice over interrupts as the video is changed by unseen hands. Hex Girl VO: Most parents would have shied away from taking their little girl to such a violent spectacle. Mine knew I wasn't like most girls. Being a military brat that followed an enlisted parent on all applicable deployments there are two things you don't get to do readily. One is make friends and two is put down roots. When we couldn't follow on an overseas deployment, Dad insisted we come home to be with family. So if we weren't following to parts unknown as prescribed by Uncle Sam it was on back to the hill and the holler. All that was, was an excuse for my cousins to engage in redneck beat downs. *The film changes and now shows a bunch of kids rough housing in a farmyard. The red haired girl from before is among them looking a couple of years older. The group is nearly divided evenly between boys and girls all ranging in ages from late teens to the youngest looking to be around 6 years old. Most of the girls quickly tire of the rough play and go back to the house or sit on the porch. The little red head continues to tousle about with the boys. Slinging mud and wrestling around.* Hex Girl VO: Sandy, Mandy, Boo, Bobbie Sue and Ashlynn didn't have much to do with me. They were all local pageant girls and cheerleaders. Bunch of prissy little bitches who liked to gossip and make trouble is what they really were but they convinced Granny and their parents they were fucking angels. Now Bird, Derrick, Donny, Robby, Roscoe and JayJay. They didn't mind getting dirty. They also expected you to take a good as you gave. Granny never wanted to hear me complain that the boys got rough she'd always say. If you start it you'd better take your part and finish it. *As the video plays it shows the two oldest or at least the two biggest of the boys pick up the little red head. She squirmed and fought to get down or get away from their grip. They almost seemed to ignore her efforts as they walked to the other end of the farmyard towards the pond where the cows were drinking. Realizing the direction she was being taken the red head intensified her efforts for freedom but her cousins had a decent enough grip on her by now she wasn't going anywhere except where they wished. Once they were close enough to the pond one of them seized her legs and the other her arms they took only one practice swing to wind up before hurling the girl into the middle of the pond. She quickly came up sputtering and her hands filled with mud from the bottom of the pond. She took aim and hit both boys right in the face with a mudball. She then quickly made for the other side of the pond as they cleared the muck from their eyes. The camera then moved forward as it was then evident the operator was now running to catch up and the tape quickly cut.* Hex Girl VO: Don’t cry, don’t complain, don’t let them see you be weak. That’s what Papaw said. Don’t feel pain use pain then you can really hurt someone. That’s what Aunt Jo said after she stabbed her abusive cheatin’ husband in the balls. I’d say both are good lessons. *The tape switches again. It shows a karate tournament in progress a pair of students are engaging in full contact kumite [sparring] in the middle of the floor. A judge occasionally separating the pair and awarding points. After a few minutes the next pair comes up. The red head from the previous tapes and a different kid who is her chosen opponent. Her opponent is considerably larger than her at first causing the judge to object to the match. The little red head yells an objection back at the judge and the match is allowed. The pair match up and the little red head is easily dodging the larger guy. She is getting most of the points. The guy suddenly lunges forward tripping. The red head scrambling to get out if his way places her foot wrong catching a place between the mats. Her ankle bends at a horrible angle and there is an audible sickly crack. The judge stops the match and scrambles over to the girl. She keeps shaking her head no and pointing at her opponent. Making it clear she wants to continue. The judge argues with her regarding the state of her ankle. Eventually the judge tires of arguing with her, lifts her by her waist and carries her over to the medical station in the corner of the gymnasium despite her protests. The film cuts this time indicating that the camera operator was about to go check on her. * Hex Girl VO: I guess once Dad retired from the military that did give me the chance to put down some roots but all that happened was he spent a lot of time at the school because I got into fights. I think at some point he probably had his own coffee mug in the office. *she sighs* Dad wouldn’t have had to spend all that time if the kids at school would have just learned to not try to bully me. *The last film clip to load up. The quality is back to a trashy old camcorder. A pair of women fighting in a ring. One of the women is unmistakably Hex Girl even though the outfit is different. In this match she is wearing at Japanese school uniform very reminiscent of earlier clip with Kate Cameron. The match is definitely a hardcore match but the promotion putting it on is unrecognizable. Most likely this is a match from one of the backyard feds where Hex Girl got her start in wrestling before joining WWX. Hex Girl is hitting her opponent with a 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire. When she is attacked from behind by two other women. They take the board away from her and hold her face down in the ring. Her original opponent takes out a katana and doses it in gas. She lays the sword on Hex’s spine then pulls out a lighter and sets the sword on fire. The other two women hold Hex down for several moments while the sword burns into her clothing and sears her flesh. When they finally let go she rolls and gets the hot metal off of her. She pulls from her yellow bag at ringside a pair of kamas and proceeds to carve into the three women. There is a jumpcut in the footage and the next scene shows four ambulances leaving the area where the match was taking place and the ring a bloody mess.* Hex Girl VO: Dad has always called me his little warrior. Mom calls me a pack of dynamite. I know my opponents past and present have varying opinions of me. To anyone who asks what force keeps me moving when all logic and frankly physics dictate that I should stop. *She laughs.* That is pure magic. That is part of what makes the psychopixie so tough to beat. Why the Wiccan Wonder can’t be stopped and it’s all because I’m made just a little different from the rest of y’all. As for this team up with Fathi, I’ll play nice till he comes for my belt again then I’ll make sure he’s missin’ some more teeth. As for these two Forsaken I’ll whop the snot out of them just the same. See y’all in Carolina at least this is one gig I can drive to.
