Act 1: In search of Ambros
"It's never a good idea to cross me. I'm not a nice person. I will smile as I try to figure out where to put the ice pick."
The scene opens on the beautiful city of Glasgow Scotland. The smell from fireplaces seemed to drift on the air, mixing with the fresh sea air fro the River Clyde filled ones senses. The night was filled with a little bit of light from the streetlights that lined the cobbled stone sidewalks gave off a gentle glow. The sound of horns, and cars moving along the streets filled the night, even for as late as it was. The sound of a motorcycle is soon heard breaking the night, and it stops in front f where Ambros was last seen. The rider hops off and removes the skull looking helmet, and we see that it is Denise. She looks up at the dilapidated office building as her anger rises. A voice pierces the still air filled with power and dread echoing through out the shadows.
Voice: He is no longer here.
She turns and looks behind her trying to find the voice. A tall, powerful,, handsome, and imposing figure steps but the darkness clings to him like a lover. Inky black hair like liquid midnight covers his visage. It is the father of Ambros, Darkson, The Dark Messiah. Denise lets out a sigh of relief and relaxes some as she sees him coming from the shadows.
Denise: What are you doing here?
Darkson: Same as you trying to find my son. I tracked him here but they blocked his presence from me. A difficult task to accomplish but not impossible as Evan Storm proved with Katsa.
Denise: I should have went with him. At least then I could have helped him take these assholes down.
Darkson: If he came alone they either threatened you or Katsa, most likely both knowing he can't be in two places at once.
Denise punches the brick wall in front of her, not feeling the pain move through her hand at the time, or the blood that was starting to drip down her arm.
Denise: I have to find him.
Darkson: We will. We know the Forsaken do not have the free will to plan this. That leaves Lachlain, Anna, Calypso, but my thoughts bring me to Vargas...
Denise: Vargas? Why?
Darkson: I think he is the one pulling the strings. Denise folds her arms in front of her and nods.
Denise: It's possible. I mean the others don't really seem like they have the ability to be in charge.
Darkson: Find him and we might find Ambros.
Denise: When I do I'll make him talk. Even if I have to beat it out of him. I'll find Ambros.
Darkson: I will talk with Venus and Hex Girl see if they can see anything.
Denise: Good idea. I'll keep looking. Maybe I'll find a trail.
Darkson: Watch your back, stay safe. Ambros would never forgive me if anything happened to you, nor would Katsa.
Denise smiles softly as a piece of her long raven hair falls into her face.
Denise: I'll be fine. God help anyone that steps in my way. It's not going to be a pleasant experience.
Darkson: I do not doubt your skill nor deadliness. But many great warriors have fallen to treachery, never forget Lu Bu.
Denise nods.
Denise: I know. I'll be careful.
Darkson: I am just a whisper away.
Denise: You're just like the old man. No one speaks his name in fear of having him sitting beside them.
Darkson: We go way back.
She smirks.
Denise: So do we... I'm going to go look around. Check in with Venus. She has that weird sight. She might be able to track Ambros.
Darkson nods stepping back into the shadows and becoming engulfed in darkness. Denise steps into the darkness of the building, letting her eyes adjust to the darkness around her. Soon a dim light appears in front of her, as she uses her phone for a light.
Denise: When I get my hands on them... But I can't focus on them right now. I have a match coming up on Assault. It's a shame that it's after Halloween. But I guess beggars can't be choosers. I know I'm facing off against Pax and I really don't know what to say. Our match in Champions Run was tossed out because of the Forsaken. But not this time. I'm making sure I get the win, and keep those fools at bay. I know that your brothers and Venus will be watching your back, and I have my family watching mine. I've watched some of your matches and I have to say you and your brother haven't had a whole lot of luck.
Denise moves through the empty building letting the light move over everything.
Denise: They didn't leave anything behind! Damn it! Where did they take you? I swear I will find you no matter where they took you.
Denise sighs as she kicks something with a metallic sound. She looks down, and sees something shinning in the light from her phone. She bends down and picks it up. It was Ambros's wedding band. She wraps her hand around it, and closes her eyes. She opens them and they flash red before going to their normal blue color.
Denise: Pax forgive me for not really looking forward to our match. I'm worried about what is going happen to Ambros if I don't find him. Don't get me wrong I will do whatever I have to do win this match and walk out of there the winner, and leave you once again with nothing. It's nothing personal... It's all business Pax... That's all. The Deathbringer comes and she comes for thee. See you soon and good luck, you're going to need it.
Denise soon turns and walks out of the building and back toward the Harley that sat in front of the building. She grabs the helmet and places it over her head, as the skull on it is seen once again. The Harley soon roars to life once again, and she speeds off into the night, as the scene fades to black.
