(We see Adam and Maria at Arlington National Cemetery as Adam makes his annual visit to his parents' graves. He is dressed warmly as it is starting to get cold and so is Maria)

[Maria Reyes]

This place feels honorable.

[Adam Gatner]

This is the place where they bury soldiers when they are killed in action....or most were killed in action anyway but this is where they buried my mother and father.

[Maria Reyes]

They were killed fighting for the USA.

(Adam nods.)

[Adam Gatner]

Yes. my grandfather served in the military but he is still alive.

[Maria Reyes]

Why you not serve in the military?

[Adam Gatner]

I do not know. That would have been a possibility but mom and dad loved me whether I did or not.

(Maria smiles and hugs Adam from the side.)

[Maria Reyes]

I am happy too. You have treated me right and I love you for it. You parents would be proud of you today.

(Adam nods and smiles)

[Adam Gatner]

I always love to think so. They instilled discipline in me and I have stayed out of trouble because of it. I have done a few minor things when I was a kid. i wasnt always a perfect child but i am definitely glad they gave me the discipline I needed.

[Maria Reyes]

That's good to hear. I think you are a very good man and you have been treating me with love.

(Adam smiles and looks down at Maria and hugs her.)

[Adam Gatner]

With someone as amazingly beautiful and as good hearted as you it gives me nothing but great pleasure to give my heart to someone like you.

(Maria blushes and smiles. She kisses him and they head out of the cemetery.)

[Maria Reyes]

So you are undefeated so far in NCW. I happy about that.

[Adam Gatner]

I am too but the wins do not feel gratifying to me. I truly wanted a fight out of them. As I have said I thrive off of competition. I wanted more of a fight out of AJ and CJ.

[Maria Reyes]

You showed that aggression you were talking about though mi amor. No one will take you lightly.

[Adam Gatner]

Exactly. I do not take my opponents lightly and if they take me lightly then they will pay for it.

(Maria smiles and nods.)

[Maria Reyes]

I wish my brother were here to meet you. I think he would love you.

[Adam Gatner]

I hope so.

[Maria Reyes]

So what do you think about your opponent this week Venus Mercury.

[Adam Gatner]

Since I have only had two matches I am still fairly new but that does not matter to me. Let her say what she wants about me. I want her to show up. I want her to fight me.

[Maria Reyes]

We admire that mi amor.

(Adam smiles and holds Maria close.)

(We now see them at the Forth and Clyde Canal and they are riding on a gondola.)

[Maria Reyes]

I thought only Italy had canals with the gondolas.

[Adam Gatner]

Apparently Scotland does too. It is still beautiful either way like you Mi amor

(Maria smiles and blushes)

[Maria Reyes]

Gracias mi amor. You are right though. it is just as beautiful as the ones in Italy.

(Adam takes his phone out and turns the camera on.)

[Adam Gatner]

What's up my Wolfpack. Venus Mercury I am going to make this short and sweet. I won against AJ Flare and I won against CJ Von Erich but it didnt satiate my hunger for competition. Venus do me a favor. Show up. AJ didnt. CJ didnt. I do not like squash matches. Neither I nor my Wolfpack have to like you to give me what I always come with and that's a fight.

(Maria cuddles with Adam and Adam smiles.)

[Adam Gatner]

Fight me Venus or dont show up at all. Scotland Wolfpack let me hear ya howl.

(Maria kisses him as Of Wolf and Man by Metallica plays to commercial)

Act 1: The Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

"Don't be ashamed of finding out who you're fake friends are, be happy for never being one of them."



The scene opens on the beautiful city of San Fransisco. The bright afternoon sun had burned off the heavy fog that had surrounded the bay area, and the water could be seen, along with the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge. The smell of the salt water mixed with the smell from the Fisherman's Wharf, and the local restaurants that littered the city. The park near the Golden Gate Bridge was busy with families, joggers, and people walking their dogs just to enjoy the early fall weather. The camera moves over the city and soon comes to a stop on one of the older parts of the city. The houses were out of the Victorian era and yet modern with 3 car garages siting beside them, and electric lights cast their lights when darkness fell. The camera stops on a familiar home where we see pumpkins with different designs lining the stairs. One with "NCW" engraved into it sat at the top. This as the home that Venus Mercury and the current Eternal Champion Phoenix Halliwell shared. The bay windows were opened letting in the fresh air, and caused the heavy dark drapes to move gently in the study that was lined with book shelves filled with old looking leather bound books, while a glass cabinet in the corner held replica's of some of the titles that Venus and Phoenix had held over the years. The sound of voices could be heard coming from the kitchen where we see Venus sitting at the island with Phoenix sitting across from her.

Venus: Are you sure you're alright?

Phoenix: I'm fine. The doc said I would be stiff and my wrist would be swollen for a few days.

Venus: I know. I should have seen it coming. But my visions haven't been clear lately.

Phoenix: I noticed. Have you seen anything about these guys?

Venus nods, and leans back in the high backed chair, and sighs.

Venus: But that's not all I've seen.

Phoenix rises an eyebrow.

Phoenix: Oh? What have you seen?

Venus's eyes go into black pools, as the world around them starts to fade away into blackness. Soon spots of light are seen, almost as if candles were lit from out of the darkness. We soon see Venus and Phoenix standing in the middle of a circle of candles.

Venus: Darkness... But this is something different. They are not the evil that they claim to be. They are nothing to fear. The darkness that is around is the light of hope. What I saw was a pair of red eyes, but I did not feel fear. It was a feeling of hope, one of familiarity.

Phoenix: Is it HIM?

Venus: I am not sure. It could be, but the eyes... The eyes are different.

Phoenix: It could be any one of them.

Venus: Enemies will become friends. Rivals will be no more. Threats will be no more when the darkness falls around us. The choice will be made for survival.

Phoenix: The survival of what?

Venus turns to him with her eye still nothing more tan black pools.

Venus: The world...

Phoenix looks over at her, as the room goes dark. The scene reopens on the kitchen they had been in.

Phoenix: What do you mean V-Chip?

Venus: That's just it... I'm not sure. Everything has been clouded, and shrouded in darkness. But I can't focus on that right now...

Phoenix: That's right you have a match don't you?

Venus: Yes. Against Adam Gatner.

Phoenix: I'll leave you to do whatever you need to do V-Chip. I'm going to get some rest.

Venus: I'll come and check on you soon.

Phoenix gets up from where he sits and heads out of the kitchen and heads toward the stairs leaving Venus alone.

Venus: It's nice to be stepping into the ring again. I've watched the matches that you've had, but you have yet to really stand against someone that will give you a challenge. I will give you the challenge that you are searching for.

She gets up from where she sits and walks back through the house.

Venus: You hardly mentioned anything about me, but then again few ever do. No one thinks that I an stand against them for I am mostly found in the tag team competition. I've watched your matches and you are good, but not as good as you think you are. Sure you have beaten AJ but then again who hasn't? That is not something that you really should be proud of. CJ Von Erich, another fool. I will make you work for the win if nothing else and then you can show the rest of the locker room that you are a threat and perhaps someone that is worthy to have a title in the near future.

Venus soon reaches the study once again, and stares out the window at the world passing by.

Venus: I can see many outcomes of this match, but none of them are set in stone. One small movement, one small hesitation can change the outcomes with one swift moment. I am not doubting your abilities for the simple fact it would be stupid for me to do so. But I will do whatever I can to put you down and win the match because I know you will do the same. I just hope you know what you're getting into when you step into the ring with me. See you soon, and good luck.

As the scene fades to black we hear Venus's soft voice.

Venus: We are all connected. Every living being united in a single glorious existence. Open yourself to the universe. Embrace eternity!

Her eyes go into black pools once again, as the scene fades to black.
