Act 1: Day of The Dead
"I knew a man who once said, "Death smiles at us all; all a man can do is smile back" Gladiator
The scene opens on the beautiful city of Mexico. The beautiful city was decorated with bright colored streamers and banners. The sound of music drifted on the air, along with the smells of the bakeries, the restaurants and from the homes that lined the streets. Massive crowds had gathered in the streets, enjoying the sounds of the loud music, and the beautiful costumes that could be seen. The sugar skulled faces filled the square, dancing while others carried giant puppets on sticks as a few floats done in bright colored flowers, and other decorations passed by the cheering crowds. The last few rays of the sun, were starting to set over the horizon, as the crowds had started to head toward the cemetery Mexico National Cemetery. We soon see a familiar face moving through the crowd. Necra was dressed in a long dark dress with bright colored patterns and wide brimmed hat with a veil over her face. She moves through the crowd passing by people that seem to stare at as she does. She stops on a balcony that over looks the cemetery as she hears a loud squeal.
Voice: COUSIN NECRA!
Necra turns around, and she sees a young woman a little older than her, dressed in a vibrant purple dress, running toward her. Necra's eyes get wide as she realizes who it was.
Necra: IZZY!
The two of them hug, as they both squeal loudly once again, as others around them smile and continue on down the long flight of stairs toward the cemetery.
Izzy: Look at you! You look amazing!
Necra: So do you!
Izzy: What are you doing here?
Necra: I came with Ex and a friend of his.
Izzy smiles softly, as she pushes back a piece of black hair away from her face, trying not to mess up the candy skull makeup.
Izzy: Where is your better half?
Necra looks back toward the city streets and sighs.
Necra: Back that way somewhere. But I figured I would let him and Johnny explore the city and enjoy the Tequila, and whatever else there was while I work.
Izzy looks at her and sighs.
Izzy: You shouldn't be working tonight! It's Di de Los Muertos!
Necra: I know. But the Angel of Death's job is never done, you know that. Speaking of which, where is your mother?
Izzy: She is with the NiƱas.
Necra: I should have known. Oh, I have something for you.
Necra pulls out a piece of paper from a small bag at her side, and smiles handing it to Izzy. She opens it and smiles hugging Necra once again.
Izzy: Gracias! Mi madre will be thrilled!
Necra: If you need anything all you have to do is call. I want to do what I can for you and the children of the orphanage.
Izzy: You are so sweet. Come, the festivities have yet to really begin.
Izzy grabs Necra by the hand, and leads her down the stairs and toward the massive cemetery that was spread as far as the eye could see. The sound of laughter, and music drifted on the air, from people that now sat and were now dinning with their past loved ones. Necra looks out over the cemetery, seeing the spirits moving about the people that now celebrated the lives of those that had passed.
Necra: I love this time of year.
Izzy: I do too. I'm going to see if I can find mi madre.
Necra: Alright. I'll see you in a bit then?
Izzy: Si.
Izzy soon walks off, leaving Necra alone. She looks around at the happy families and passes by them as the candles that glowed brightly in the darkness.
Necra: Fathi, I caught your promo and I have to say it made me laugh. You see I don't care what you think of me, or that you think you already have this match won. You see I've stood against bigger and badder than you. So what if you have the tag titles? I am a Grand Slam Champion. I've held each and every title in the NCW and you have yet to even do so. You came into this company thinking you were going to take them all when you have done nothing more than go on and on about how you are going to go through everyone and take them out, but yet... You took one and nothing more. You hide in the shadows and attack, waiting for the moment when others let their guard down. Coward. I've been watching you and Brian go after my boyfriend's best friend and that is your first mistake... And it's going to be your last... After facing me of course.
Necra smiles as she walks along one of the trails, and soon stops when she reaches what appears to be an older section of the cemetery that was dark, and seemed to be almost forgotten.
Necra: Fathi, I know you seem to claim you know what it is to be haunted by the past, or those that have already gone, but do you know what it;s like to see every spirit around you every day? From the time I wake up, to the time I go to sleep at night I see them, I hear them. The ones that haunt you do so for a reason... I understand. But the question is do you feel guilty about you have done to make them follow you? To make you remember them on the daily? Or do you even care? I have a feeling it's the later isn't it?
She smirks as her eyes seem to glow red before shift back to normal color.
Necra: I know a lot of people bring up your religion, and how you follow something that is taboo, but I really don't care. I've spoken with all of the Gods. I've walked with them in their realms, but I will tell you right now Fathi you will never see your paradise. No, there's a special place in hell for you. After everything that you have done do you really think you will ever be forgiven by those that have passed before you? The God you claim to worship? No, your soul is already tainted, and there is no place for you in the after life except in the darkest places of the depths. But its still not as bad as what awaits these poor souls. The Land of the Forgotten is the end. It is where those that are forgotten in death are left to dwell. The land of the forgotten is dark, and cold, while the Land of the Remembered is bright, colorful, and full of music, life, and joy. Fathi I have to admit when you cried, it brought a smile to my face. I thought thugs never cry, don't feel emotions except for anger and rage. I guess you are a little boy playing the game that is meant for Kings and Queens. You see they call me by all different names in this world, but no matter what I am called just know that I will be the last person that you see before you close your eyes.
Necra smiles as she looks around the quiet and dark graves. She lowers her head and closes her eyes, as a flash of light is seen. We soon see Necra once again, with her pale skin almost glowing. The light fades and she leans against one of the larger tombstones.
Necra: Fathi, I don't think there is anything else that I can really say to you. I mean there is only so many ways that I can say that I am going to kick your ass. You think you know pain, but you don't. I'll make you feel pain, and make you wish that you were you dead by the time I am done with you. I'm not afraid of bleeding, or seeing yours on the mat. This is a match that you won't forget. This is where you will meet your end, no matter what you try to stop me. I am the Goddess of Death, Queen of the Dead, The Angel of Death, The Lady in Black, The Reaper of Souls, The Child of Heaven and Hell. Fear me; for when you look upon me you will see your end! See you soon and good luck you're going to need it!
Necra smiles as she walks off, heading toward back toward the main part of the cemetery where the light seemed to glow like the sun. As she walks back toward the light she seems to fades into nothingness as the scene fades to black.
