Act 1: A Quick Interview
"I'm a woman of few words. I rather let my actions do my talking for me."
The scene opens on the backstage area of the SAP Center. The sound of the crowd could be herd coming from the main part of the arena. Stage hands made their way along the long hallways. We soon see Avery walking along the hallway and soon rounds the corner, and runs into Chris Clinton.
Chris Clinton: Miss McCullen, just the lad I've been wanting to speak with.
Avery: Really?
Chris Clinton: Yes. I wanted to get a few words from you about your match tonight.
Avery: Well... I managed to get this far in the champions run, and I'm looking forward to get to the end.
Chris Clinton: You still have a long way to go.
Avery: Yeah I do, but my next opponent is CJ Von Erich, a man that has not been able to win a title, let alone win a match for a long time. I've beaten him before hell who hasn't?
Chris Clinton: I have to say that its not going to be an easy fight.
Avery: Really? Hell I already know I got this match won. I'm not underestimating him, or anything, but we all know how this match is going to end.
Chris Clinton: Is there anything that you want to say to your opponent?
Avery looks down at the floor, and then smiles as she looks back up at Chris.
Avery: Yeah there is. CJ you have no talent, let alone the will to stand against me in this match. If nothing else I will be ready to tear you down, and not even think twice about what is going to happen. CJ this is where you're going to see your end. Good luck, you're going to need it in the end. See you soon.
Chris Clinton: Thank you for your time Miss McCullen. And good luck tonight.
Avery: Thank you... But I'm not going to need it... He will.
Avery walks off leaving Chris alone once again, as the scene fades to black.
