Act 1: The True Jersey Devil Diva
"Have you ever hated someone so much that you wanted to beat them into nothin'ness?"
The scene opens on the beautiful Jersey Shore. The camera moves over the city and soon comes to a stop on the more wealthy part of the city, where high walls ran around the vast properties that lined either side of the street. The sound of a lawn mower from somewhere behind one of the lawns seems to echo through the neighborhood, as we see a few kids playing out in the vast yards while the weather was still nice even with a slight chill in the air. The camera moves across the area and soon comes to a stop on the Canelli estate. The gates were once again closed with the wrought iron black steel "C" seemed to glisten in the late afternoon sun. The camera moves along the long winding driveway, and soon reaches the massive house that loomed over the driveway. The camera moves to the interior of the estate where we find Joanne and the guys in the vast living room all playing pool. The pool table was done in a dark lacquered wood, with a deep green top. The smell of cigar smoke mixed with a strong smell of weed with the smell of Petrulli trying to over power it all. The flat screen 72" tv played the last few promo's from the NCW that had been done. Joanne turns when Johnny's comes on, and watches it leaning on the pool cue in her hand. Her hands clench and unclench as she watches the promo. Rude sees her anger rising and moves back with Uh Oh and Reno. Her let eye twitches with each insult, with each word that is said. The promo soon ends, and she is shaking. She screams and with a wide swing Joanne smashes the tv sending shards of glass everywhere. She turns and Scarpaci is standing behind her. He goes to say something but she cracks him with the pool cue sending him to the floor. She looks over at Reno, Rude and Uh Oh, as she tosses the pool cue down.
Rude: Boss remember your pressure.
Joanne: I don't give a flyin' fuck about that right now! He is dead! When I get my hands on him...
Rude: Remember what they told you, you can't kill anyone!
Joanne: Gawd damn it! He went over the line!
Rude: I'll get you something to drink...
Reno: Yeah and some weed...
Uh Oh: It'll be alright...
Joanne looks over at them and her eye narrow.
Rude: Reno, Uh Oh help me get her some water!
The three of them take off into the kitchen leaving Joanne alone. She pulls out her phone and hits a button, as she walks out of the living room, and into the foyer. The phone is soon answered.
Voice: Hello?
Joanne: I'm goin' to kill him!
Voice: Joannie you cant do that. You know the rules Ex has spoken for him.
Joanne: I don't care Seph. I mean he insulted me.
Seph: Joannie, Joannie...
Joanne: Don't Joannie me! I'm goin' to put him down and...
Seph: You know you can't do that. If you do you know what will happen. Settle it in the ring and leave it at that. Get it out of your system.
Joanne sighs, and leans against the desk as she looks out the window.
Joanne: I plan on beatin' the holy hell out of him in this match. All I want is my chance to beat him down, and teach him a lesson.
Seph: You can beat the holy hell out of him all you want just don't kill him.
Joanne: Why? I mean Besides the blood hunt?
Seph sighs.
Seph: Ex doesn't ask for much. And he hides the bodies for us.
Joanne: So? We can find someone else to do that!
Seph: Who?
Joanne: I know several people who...
Seph: Competently?
Joanne sighs.
Joanne: You had me until then. Alright... Fine! I'll be good and just beat him down.
Seph: Good. Now if you excuse me I have to get back to what I was doing.
Voice in the background: I KNOW I'VE BEEN A BAD LITTLE WITCH BUT I REALLY NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM!
Seph: I better get back to her... She's a bit tied up at the moment.
Joanne sighs, and soon hangs up. Her anger was still there, and she soon throws her phone out the window smashing through the glass. Scarpaci walks along the veranda and is hit in the head with the phone sending him over the veranda and into the tiger pit in the yard. Joanne turns and looks out the window not seeing anything. She sighs, and sits in her chair, lighting a cigarillo.
Joanne: Johnny you one lucky son of a bitch to have the big guy watchin' out for you. I mean if not I'm not sure what I would do to you. I've done a lot of thin's in my day and trust me I have regrets about some of it, but the rest... Hell no. I've held titles, an pushed through a lot of crap not only in the wrestlin' companies I've been in but my other life as well. Am I pissed off about what you said? Yes. Do I feel like I want to break every bone in your body? Yes. Does that make me a bad person? Maybe... I'm out to teach you a lesson about messin' with people that I care about. I'm not usually that big of a person, or quick to anger, but you pushed the wrong buttons and now you're goin' to pay for it.
She smiles as she takes a drag off of the cigarillo. A puff of smoke billows around her, as she leans back in her chair, putting her feet up on the corner of the desk.
Joanne: And as for me sleepin' to the top think again. I got to where am I because of my talent. I'm not like most of the females the come into companies that have no clue what they are doin' so of course they are goin' to do what they do best... But me, I'll kick your ass or anyone's for that matter to prove a point. As for what I did in my past... It's just that in the past. I don't linger on such thin's. I don't linger on past lovers, or even losses. But you seem to. Drinkin' to forget is never good idea, but after our match I know where Ex be able to find you... In the bottom of a glass.
She laughs as she turns sideways and looks at the spot where the phone had gone through and sighs.
Joanne: If you want a fair match I'll give it to you. I'm not afraid to step out in the middle of that ring without them. Hell I'll beat the hell out of you and then challenge for a title. I guess I'll have to decide what one won't I? I don't think I really have anythin' left to say to you. I mean you insulted me, and I will do whatever it takes to bring you down just to prove a point and teach you the lesson that I've been wantin' to for the last few weeks. Good luck Johnny, you're goin' to need it.
She smiles and gets to her feet, and slides what is left of the glass sliding door open. She walks out onto the veranda and looks out over the grounds, as the scene fades to black.
