A sweeping view of the Alaskan countryside begins to tighten in on a structure on the outskirts of a town. As everything zooms in and comes into focus the outside of a large building fills the frame. "IceHouse Wrestling School" is in bold letters on the side of the building. The view of the exterior view cross-fades to a view of the interior. The gym is a buzz of activity though attention is focused on the practice ring in the center. Ice Queen is sparring with her younger sister. Darkson watches and attempts to give his wife advice as the two powerful blondes grapple in the ring.


Darkson: phoenix relies on his legs for power and speed and leaping ability. While all his opponents target his arms you must disable his legs take him down and work the knee


Ice Queen grabs Krystal into a headlock and stepped in giving a twist at the hips. This attempt to force Krystal to break her stance and bend at the knee. Krystal responded by grabbing Ice Queen by the waist and started to attempt to lift her off her feet.


Darkson: Phoenix is stronger than his size may let you believe you have to be able to prevent lifting you. he likes using suplexes, jackhammers, and brainbusters.


Ice Queen: I'm used to that.



She quips as she looks down at her sister. She moves her leg that is wrapped around Krystal's from where she attempted to make Krystal bend. She brings her heel down against the back of Krystal's leg. It takes several strikes before Krystal is forced to abandon her lifting attempt and break the hold.


Darkson: He likes working the neck and shoulder of his opponents he has a flipping piledriver and a crossface to knockout or make an opponent submit. he also likes to use his out of nowhere Vanquish maneuver for a sudden and surprising win. He can do it from any position so even when you have advantage keep close to the ropes.


Krystal changes her tact in line with what Darkson is saying. She grabs Ice Queen by the knee and drops backwards taking her sister to the mat. She then starts to wrap herself around Ice Queen working her own head lose while trapping Ice Queen in a very painful looking armbar.



Ice Queen: My love she's already a grappling and submissions expert do you need to give her ideas?


Darkson: Krystal try not to hurt your sister but stay aggressive try to replicate his style get her ready for Phoenix. He is a multiple time NCW Pinnacle Champion, Eternity, and tag team champion.


Krystal: It takes a lot to hurt her. Not nearly as much as Hex Girl but still a lot. Don't worry she'll still be good for the ring.



Krystal changes the hold to add pressure to Ice Queen's shoulder. Ice Queen rolls up and swings at her sister hitting her in the chest. Krystal tries to hold on but she's forced to let go after two more hits.


Darkson: My love you have superior strength than him but he is quite strong and experienced. Take the leg and focus on it. Drive the knee to the mat mix up strikes and locks to take away his vertical ability


Taking advantage of Krystal's momentary weakness she wraps an arm around her knees temporarily immobilizing them. Grabbing the front of Krystal's shirt she lifts her off the mat and holds her up for a moment.



Ice Queen: Not much of a counter for a good rug slam.



She lets go of Krystal's shirt but maintains the hold on her knees and lets her upper body slam against the mat. She repeats the action a couple more times before releasing Krystal and attempting to put her in a leg lock.

Darkson: Phoenix has a reputation as an honorable man but in these dark times I do not trust anyone he has 3 allies and so I will be at ringside to ensure it stays one on one

Ice Queen: I would hope that after our last match there would be enough respect that he would do the honorable thing. If you are worried about keeping thing even you might need some backup of your own.



She applies pressure to the leg lock as Krystal reaches for the ropes to break it.

Darkson: Should I call Kate and Azrael and have Krystal come with me?


Ice Queen: I know Krystal always enjoys a roadtrip if Kate or Azrael don't want to do it ask Thor I think he's free.



Krystal unable to reach the rope and with Ice Queen laying on the pressure taps.



Krystal: I hate playing Mercy with you.

Darkson: She can be quite stubborn one of four who can get me to do what they want.


Krystal: Beware that stubbornness is a family trait and you produced a dose of double trouble with it.


Darkson: Trust me I know

Ice Queen stands up and moves over to the side of the ring where Darkson is.



Ice Queen: Are you wanting to see a second round or do you want me to move to the next part of this training schedule you devised?

Darkson: I think you showed your grappling ability lets continue.


Ice Queen climbs out of the ring.



Ice Queen: Lead the way, my love.

Darkson leads her to where the cardio equipment is located.
The shot fades out as Darkson gets her started on the cardio program he has planned for her.

*Wednesday, September 3rd, 2019. The time, 2:47 P.M. The place, Four Seasons Town Center in Greensboro, NC; specifically located at 308 Four Seasons Town Ctr. Greensboro, NC 27407. The mall itself isn't that populated because, for the most part, the students are still in class for the day. Still, there are still folks wandering around either window shopping or actually buying things. The sun looks nice and feels good coming through the skylights.  It's a little chilly outside, given the fact that it's now unofficially autumn, still, it's a nice day.  The air is filled with scents from not only the perfume counters of stores and kiosks but of the fattening establishments in the food court and the non-court food establishments.  NCW competitor Phoenix Halliwell is strolling down a corridor admiring the scenery of the mall and a select few of the patrons as well.  The camera, as always, is just a few steps ahead of him and recording his every word and move.*

Phoenix: A day off.  How rare it is, but such is the price you pay for being one of the top athletes in one of the top wrestling companies in the world.  Still, it's nice to get away from everything and be practically anonymous.  On a day like this, I can be whomever I want to be because I'm in a town where nobody knows me... well, REALLY knows me.  I can do things I wouldn't normally do.  It's funny how that can work out sometime.  It was just such a day when I prophetically spun that wheel.  It set the first die into motion that ultimately would lead me to where I am, right now.  The number one contender, rightful or otherwise, to the Eternal Championship.  It was not something I would normally do.  Normally, I would sit around, waiting... waiting until I gained enough wins, or was challenged by a champion or what have you.  This time, I took the figurative bull by the horns and started to chart my own destiny.  Moreover, I started to control it; instead of being tossed around in an ocean of competitors like a rag doll.  Ice Queen, your championship has given me a direction... almost a new purpose... a raison d'etre, if you will.  I guess being without a championship belt will do that to a person; but I digress.  Ice Queen, for whatever it's worth to you, especially after what happened during our Iron Man match, you've got my respect.  Now, you have something I want.  It's that belt you wear around your waist.  Last Friday, I got my opportunity.  This Friday, I will have that belt in my hot, little hands.  Nothing personal; you understand, just business.

*Phoenix gazes into a few shop windows for short period of time, most notably Kay Jewelers and Zales, before deciding against jewelry as a gift for Venus.  He continues on before stopping at a Baskin Robbins and picks up a double-scoop, maple walnut ice cream cone.  He continues talking to the camera between biting the cone and spitting out the walnuts.*

Phoenix: Ice Queen, even before last week's match, I knew you were a hell of a competitor but I admit to, perhaps, underestimating your intensity.  It's a mistake I intend to remedy.  I hope you don't make the same mistake by underestimating any of my abilities. Last week you fought one murder of a match and, I consider it no small miracle that I came out the victor.  It truly could have gone either way.  This time, though, I intend to make sure that there is no question.  It won't be a matter of "either way;" it's simply going to be my way and my way alone. Please continue to improve in both your wrestling and your strategy.  I want to beat you at your best, after all, because I can guarantee you that you will get nothing less than mine.

*Phoenix throws away the paper that the ice cream cone was wrapped in into a recycling bin and continues to speak.*

Phoenix: Darkson was right about one thing, though.  I value honour above most everything else.  Therefore, I can give you my word... should Venus or my brothers be present at ringside, they will not interfere in our match.  I doubt very highly that Primus and Pax will even be there because they will still be preparing to become the new, undisputed NCW Tag Team Champions.  As far as Venus is concerned, well, she needn't be a concern of yours.  Let's keep this just between us, Your Majesty.  You keep your hounds at bay, and I'll do likewise.

*Phoenix goes into an FYE! location and starts to browse their movies.  He comes across a copy of The Fifth Element; the English-language French science fiction film directed and co-written by Luc Besson. It stars Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman and Milla Jovovich.  He smiles as he picks it up and walks over to the counter to pay for it.  He gets a few smiles of recognition from the other patrons as he sets the dvd on the sales desk.  The clerk, a short, blond, large-breasted woman in a black FYE uniform shirt with the name tag Cathy written on it, welcomes him to the store.  As she and Phoenix makes small talk, she mentions her fondness for the film.  As she is speaking, Phoenix goes into his wallet and pulls out a $10 dollar note and a $5 dollar note.*

Cathy: Well, that'll be $11.79 in total.

Phoenix: Thanks.  *paying for the movie* There's also another reason why I like this film.

Cathy: Why is that?

Phoenix: My fiancee looks like her. *indicating the picture of Mila Jovovich.*

Cathy: Lucky guy... and lucky girl...

Phoenix: Thanks again.

Cathy: Have a good day!

*Phoenix exits the store with the FYE bag that contains the movie and continues to stroll through the mall.*

Phoenix: Ice Queen... I've fought through hell and back twice on multiple occasions to win matches before.  I have no problem doing it one more time.  I'm begging you; do everything you think you possibly can to best me.  Train as long and as hard as you feel is warranted.  Prepare your mind well enough to devise a conglomerate of strategies that you feel will result in my downfall.  Do all of this, Ice Queen... but bear in mind, it will not, nor ever will be, enough to get the job done.  I want that Eternal Championship, and by the gods and goddesses above who smile on me, I will have it once again... so mote it be!

*The camera watches as Phoenix Halliwell passes by and heads towards the doors leading to the parking lot.  The way the shot is set up, Phoenix appears in silhouette as he is walking into the setting sun; as if stepping into a new destiny.*
