Biography: Martha Venegas was born in Brawley, California. She was born into a family of gangsters that did so to support their family. She grew up admiring that and wanted to get into it. She eventually did at a young age and was quite successful at it. She was the equivalent of what a Biker Girl is, she would occasionally help out, but she would hang out with them and learn from them. She tried to not overstep her boundaries.
As she got older, she got more physical and focused on beatdowns more than kills. Killing people tended to gross her out. She couldn't bring herself to do that. It was there that she met her future husband Diablo / Hector Venegas. It was around that time that she decided she couldn't do this for a living, that she needed to do something more productive, through Diablo's urging. So she stopped doing it to be a stay at home wife.
She stayed out of the spotlight for a relatively long time, accompanying Diablo to matches to learn about the wrestling business. Until she was convinced by Veronica Rodriguez and Rachel Storm to get into the business. So she started getting trained by them and her husband Diablo, who initially didn't want her to get into it. Now with his blessing, she embarks on a new journey focused on a more productive alternative to the gangster lifestyle.
She still has attributes from her gangster days, like jumping people, cheating, using anything as a weapon, etc. She uses this to release what she learned in her gangster days in a productive platform. She loves hurting people and also strives to be the best, whether that be championships or money. She's new to the business, so she doesn't know much about how stuff works out. But she will occasionally have her husband help her out in promos / in coaching to guide her on stuff.

Sample Promo:
(Never wrote this character, but here's my first promo as another character, if it counts?)
Weeks ago this probably wouldn’t be a thought. Alyssa had already decided that she had found a home in mixed martial arts and was going to focus on that. But her family seemed to insist over and over that she gave up on wrestling way too soon. Hell, she had already met a best friend through Eric that also moved to that sport with her, Rachel Storm. But unlike her, Rachel had success in the wrestling business and had carved out a hall of fame career. Alyssa, on the other hand, didn’t stick around long enough to achieve any form of success. Chances are she still doesn’t know what she’s capable of, because she was never granted a championship opportunity, never stuck around long enough for one.
She was at a crossroads. Wrestling was in her blood, but she loved Mixed Martial Arts. She loved the training and preparation that comes with it. Would she want to give all of that up for wrestling, where she’s a virtual unknown? As she prepared to listen to Rachel about considering the offer, she was greeted by her husband, fellow former wrestler Jackson Jeter. He too was a virtual unknown and was in her same shoes, so he too understood what she was going through.
Jackson: Are you alright? What’s up?
Alyssa: Rachel really wants me to go to wrestling, but I’m not sure if it’s such a good idea.
Jackson: Be true to yourself. Don’t let others pressure you.
Alyssa: But a part of me feels like she’s right. I never really got a chance to see what I’m capable of. I don’t know if I’d be a failure or a success. At least in Mixed Martial Arts I know what I am and I enjoy it. But now, it’s like being a new kid. I have to go introduce myself and show people who I am again.
Jackson: You won’t have to introduce yourself to so many people. We are amongst family. The entire gang is here ready to wrestle for TCW. About the only guy missing is me, for now. I’ll have to wait and see how this fed actually goes before I consider. I’m not jumping into an unknown without doing my research first.
Alyssa: Yeah, if I do go back, I don’t want to go back alone. I want someone there to guide me, so we can be there together through the ups and downs.
Jackson: You should check if Alexis is interested. She’s been looking for a fed as well. Plus, her husband and his brother both just returned to wrestling. They just got booked at NCW and SEE.
Alyssa: Yeah, I think that’s what I’m going to do. Good idea.
It was comforting to hear that family would be in the fed. But she was still nervous about letting people down. Especially with the new set of family she’s gained in the time away with Alexis’ marriage. All she can do is establish her own name. As she prepared to talk to Alexis again, she could feel the nerves coming. She had to do a good job of convincing if she’s going to forego teaming with her husband’s family to go with her; after all, they have the bigger legacy. She sighed and decided to give it a shot. She grabbed the phone and dialed her phone number. She nervously fidgeted with what to say until she noticed her saying “Hello” a few times.
Alexis: Alyssa, are you okay? Speak to me.
Alyssa: I, uh, yeah, I’m just figuring out how to break this to you.
Alexis: I don’t understand, what’s going on?
Alyssa: My best friend Rachel Storm is trying to convince me to come back and I need help. I’ve tried joining fed after fed but they won’t book me. I want to see if you’d be willing to tag with me.
Alexis: I’d love to, but I don’t know how Jay would feel about that. He wanted me to manage him and Lance in their return to wrestling.
Alyssa: You could still do that while being with me. We can help each other get known as singles and tag wrestlers.
Alexis: I guess I can give it a shot. But what fed would be willing to give us a shot?
Alyssa: Rachel gave me a list of feds to try out. We could talk with her about which fed will be willing to book us.
Alexis: Sure, we got nothing to lose. Count me in.
Alyssa: Thanks, I appreciate it. For a while I thought you’d completely turn me down.
Alexis: It’s okay. Jay is trying to convince me to wrestle too but I don’t know where. Mike Maddox, who is like my idol, has also been calling me but I been putting it off for so long. If you’re coming, then I’ll call him and say I’ll reconsider. It’s been a long process of them wanting me to wrestle, but I had already given up on it long ago too.
Alyssa: Same here, I had already gotten used to Mixed Martial Arts. I really didn’t think about this until Rachel brought it up. She too just came back. Maybe one day we can all work together.
Alexis: That would be awesome, but first we need to get settled into wrestling again. Count me in.
Alyssa: Thanks, this means the world to me. Now, if you don’t mind, I got a promo to cut.
Alexis: Good luck, kick their ass.
They both hung up and she felt a huge sigh of relief. Someone finally believed in her and was going to help her out. Now all she had to worry about was introducing herself and letting the world know who she is. Where would she start? Well, she would start with introducing why she was thinking of giving wrestling a real shot for the first time in her life. Sure, she had numerous attempts, but none had the certainty that this one does. Right as she prepares to start her promo, her husband Jackson Jeter points to the computer. He had found one of her opponents’ promos uploaded to the TCW website. She listened to the promo and got stressed out more than usual. Jackson had to calm her down as he prepared to speak.
Jackson: What’s the matter?
Alyssa: See, what did I tell you? This girl Erin, whoever the hell she is, decided to make fun of my career and say that I’m nothing. A failure? Are you kidding me? I had success in mixed martial arts and was creating quite the niche for myself. Even my best friend Rachel Storm could vouch for that. We feuded many times and sometimes even main evented. We may not have been signed to major companies, but we had success. That success made me question if wrestling was even worth it. Yet you people seem to think it is.
Jackson: Of course it is, don’t let others bring you down. This is your chance. This is your dream you guys have had since your days dancing for the Blackhawks. Don’t give it up for this.
Alyssa: I won’t, but the fact is I can’t even deny it. She’s right. I’ve tried to give wrestling a shot many times, mainly to appease my sisters, but I never managed to stick around. Hell, most of us are guilty of that. But it wasn’t because we failed or because we sucked. It was because bookers wouldn’t put us on the cards. We signed up to UCW, which later became 450, and they rarely booked us. Same with other companies. We could never gain consistent booking and it’s what made us lose interest.
Jackson: You don’t have to explain shit to these losers. They don’t deserve it. You’re wasting your time on them. This is your time to succeed and none of them will step in your way. Absolutely none of them.
Alyssa: While that is absolutely true, none of these fans know me. All they know is what that bitch Erin had to say about me.
Jackson: Then fuck them, let them know the truth. Who are you? You’re Alyssa fucking Miller, the leader of the Miller clan, the one responsible for all of them having a career.
Alyssa: I wouldn’t go that far…
Jackson: You have no idea how much they look up to you. You have to show courage, you have to stand up for yourself. Because once they see you having success, they will want to come over as well.
Alyssa: You’re damn right and pretty soon more will come over. You see, what they don’t know is that my sister Alexis married Jay Williams, a multiple time world champion. And with that marriage comes perks for the family. They helped train us in a lot more styles. I come back to the business having learned to be more balanced in my wrestling moves. I still am a mixed martial artist, but I now have learned how to wrestle other styles and am ready to take the next step in my career.
Jackson: There you go. Let them know what you’re good at.
Alyssa: And see who is there with me? My husband Jackson Jeter. If you want to try and bury me and say I’m useless, you’re going to have to deal with us. We’re going to prove the whole world wrong on what they thought about us. You know what they say, don’t judge a book by it’s cover. You made a mistake trying to judge my career without knowing the details. You weren’t in mixed martial arts with me, it wasn’t televised, it was underground. Not many knew about it, so I don’t expect you to. It wasn’t about the money, it was about trying something new and adapting to what was trending, something I genuinely enjoyed watching. Something I intend to introduce into wrestling. You bet your ass I won’t stop until I make you tap out. It’s Miller Time, bitches! And no, I don’t mean the beer; you’ll soon remember us for our name.
Fade to black.
