Colten Watt was born in Dorchester, Mass. The son of an electrical engineer and a registered nurse, he is the second youngest of seven siblings. His girlfriend Faith was his next door neighbor for most of their high school years. When he began wrestling training, he dropped out of his final year of high school to pursue it, his parents rejected his plan and persuaded him to pursue his GED and he began wrestling only on the weekends and work at the hospital where his mother worked to make ends meet.
