"the Fanatic" Matthew Hayden is a life long sports and wrestling fan. He played Football, Baseball and threw shot put and discuss in high school. He wasn't a great student but was First team all district in Football as a Defensive Tackle. Hayden earned a scholarship to play football at a Community College in Iowa but an injury and illness derailed his football career. He began training as a professional wrestler two years ago and has only wrestled for independent promotions for the past six months.
